I’ve been wearing these loafers for a bit now, and they are a solid choice for a laid-back, everyday shoe. I typically wear a size 10 to 10.5, and these ran perfectly true to size, which made for a great fit right out of the box. They are quite comfortable and have a nice look to them that works well for hanging out around the house or running quick errands down at the store. The construction feels sturdy and well-made, so I expect them to hold up well for casual use. The only thing to keep in mind is that I wouldn’t necessarily recommend these if you’re planning on doing a ton of heavy walking. They don’t provide quite enough support for long treks or being on your feet all day, so they definitely fall more into the "casual lounge" category for me. However, if you just want something easy to slip on that looks good and feels cozy for light activity, these are fantastic. As a big fan of Amazon Essentials clothing, I was excited to try these Men’s Canvas Moc Toe Loafers. Overall, they’re decent, but there are a few things that left me a bit disappointed. First, the insole is made of suede, which is nice, but it’s fully removable. This can be a positive if you need to replace it, but if you have a dog who enjoys chewing on things, you might want to glue them in. I’m leaning towards that option myself since the removable insole is a bit of a hassle. The fit was a little tight when I first tried them on, but I’m optimistic they’ll loosen up with wear. The appearance is good as they look comfortable and stylish with the white accents. I like that they are versatile in the fact that I can throw them on to take the dog out or to go out to a casual restaurant. The only real downside for me is the plastic bottom the material feels cheap-while it’s lightweight, it’s also surprisingly slippery on hardwood floors, which is a bit concerning. At the end of the day, these shoes feel overpriced for what they are. I’d say they’d be a good deal at about half the price, but at this cost, I’d probably opt for a more popular brand that offers the same style with comparable quality. The media could not be loaded. Discussion: I'm always on the lookout for a pair of shoes I can use around the house for summer. When I requested these from Vine I had some reservations because of my past luck at requesting the right size (which is bad luck BTW). Here I relied on the vendor's sizing information which is available via a link just above the 'Product Details'. Yes, I measured my foot just to be sure. From here I ordered a pair and waited with anticipation for them to come in. When unpacked my thought was twofold. First these are extraordinarily light. Much lighter than the vast majority of my shoes. Second these are well put together and very attractive. As can be seen in my video the stitching is well done and so is the joint between the sole and body of the shoe. Next came the biggest question. Since I measured my foot and ordered based on the vendor's size chart will these fit or not. To my pleasant surprise they fit perfectly. I have just enough room in the toe and when walking there is very limited slip in the heel. By my count they fit just as they should. Bravo! Pros: -- Well constructed - both stitching and gluing -- I find them very attractive -- Super light, perfect for warmer seasons -- No touch on/off - see my video for more information -- Tread pattern resists slipping on smooth surfaces -- Vendor's sizing chart is accurate Cons: -- None so far Bottom Line: Looking for a nice airy shoe that can be put on, taken off, without bending over? I have an issue with loafers and slip-on style shoes being too narrow for my foot so I ordered one size up and I am glad that I did. I would rather a shoe be a little too long than a little too narrow and that ended up being the case with this pair. I was surprised when I first picked them up, there are very light. Having never worn this style of loafer I was pleased to find that they were very comfortable and went easily onto my feet. I wore them to the pool-hall and was on my feet over four hours and they stayed comfortable. I like that they favor a moccasin over a boat-shoe as I feel those make anyone wearing them look ninety. The outside color is even and true black, the inside is eggshell. I would have preferred the inside color to be darker but I saw the color before ordering. The materials seem reasonably durable despite the lack of weight but I would be hesitant to wear these for anything other than relaxation or recreation, which is what they are for. I deducted a star purely for value as similar loafers can be bought elsewhere for less money. Overall, I am please with this product. ... show more
