Amazon makes some good quality clothes. These are perfect for my 9 yr old daughter who is a little thick. Got her a size 10 and there a tiny bit loose but perfect. They're stretchy too.

My child is long and super slim and it's really difficult to find jeans or any pants that fit well. Size 12 SLIM fits well for a 4ft 8inch tall 70 ish lbs child. The material and construction is well made and will hold up to rough play and the wash. I can only hope for this manufacturer to release more styles and colors - the "SLIM" pants market is SLIM!!! These jeans also have the inside waist sizer band which is helpful as well. I can see why some reviewers mention the tight fit but these jeans are for slender builds which is really hard to buy for. ... show more

I have 5 year olds in size 6 jeans. They are tall girls and these pants are like 3 to 4 inches to long on them. The waist fits ok but to snug to go down a size for the length.
