I ordered and received two gold colored rings from Amazon and started wearing them on the same date. Within the week, this one was no longer gold, but the other one was still bright gold. I have no explanation for this. This ring had a chain link look about it... I was so glad to get it. It was my favorite. They were about the same $ in cost... So you can imagine my disappointment in now having an ALMOST SILVER RING, that wasn't pretty because it had no shine. Amazon graciously gave me back my purchase price on the item.
