I needed a blind for my work shop window, the vinyl ones fell apart immediately, this one is aluminum and is much more durable. The valence was damaged in the box, but it doesn’t matter, it’s only in my work shop. Everything else was great.

These are a good value for the price. The instructions need to be completely reworked, though. In the first step (which they number #3), they tell you to attach the brackets to the head rail, but don't tell you how to do it until step 5. Because of this, installing the first one took way too long, but the second one went quick. Someone else here recommended attaching the brackets to the window frame with double sided tape to hold them in place while you are drilling your holes and fastening them in place, and that worked really well. If the seller is reading this, I really suggest that you post an installation video.

I do prefer the aluminum blinds to the vinyl. Be sure your measurements are correct. The aluminum blinds clean more easily than the vinyl and they have a nice shine to them which you would never get from vinyl blinds. The blinds fit perfectly and they look beautiful. You will not be disappointed.

Up and down action extremely stiff. For waaay off from color pictured. Instructions list parts, but then never say how to use. Instructions say front or back of part, bit really if you've never seen the part you have no idea which is front or back. The instructions also confuse mid way installation for inside and outside mount. I could go on but you get the idea:. Instructions totally useless. Item itself only mediocre at best. Very stiff up and down action. And not because I mounted the item with brackets impeding motion -- unfortunately extremely difficult to accomplish. I will never buy again . Terrible terrible.

When I bought these, I was a little skeptical. Only $350 to replace all of the blinds in my house with custom fit aluminum blinds? Yes please. I ordered them to be mounted outside the window, and they fit perfectly width wise. They are a tad bit short height wise, but that's on me. You need to add an extra inch to what you think you need, because these blinds don't like to stay at the maximum length. They tend to go back up 1/4-1/2in. Other than that, the quality is phenomenal and installation only took about 5 minutes per window.

Nice blinds, but they came in with a little wrinkle in about three four slates and since the aluminum its still wrinkled. The packing was not damaged at all, so I assume they were shipped that way. The damage is not enough to bother my husband so we did not send back, but I still notice the damage every time I open the blinds.

Excellent communication with seller. Delivery speed was as indicated and timely. Blinds were length as ordered and expected. They mounted easily. Only had one that didn't operate properly initially, but I was able to get it to align the mechanism correctly, and then it worked correctly and like the others. Definitely would purchase again, and recommend.
