The ring is nice. It is flat enough to be worn in many circumstances. As opposed to a solitaire that stands proud and catches on everything. Honestly given how small the stones are etc... and other rings purchased from Amazon it felt like the price was a little high but not out of bounds. She loves the platinum plated jewelry from Amazon in general. It stay shiny for so very much longer. She also loves that if it gets lost or damaged there is no guilt because it is inexpensive. And finally she loves that it is beautiful with all of the rest going for it.

I gained some weight so I am unable to wear my original wedding ring and band without issues. I didn’t want to go without something so I decided to get something that had great reviews, looked great and would work well for temporary use while I work on getting back down to my preferred weight and be able to wear my original rings again. I also have developed an allergy on my hands to rings that are fake and coated so anything that can turn my finger green will actually leave raised red skin in the size and shape of the ring as well as cause itching and flaking in the area so I have to be so careful now in what I wear. Since I have my hands in and out of the water a lot for work it was also important that whatever I picked could be tough enough to handle all of that. I am SO happy I bought this ring! I have been wearing it nonstop since I got it and it’s been well over a month without any reactions to my skin whatsoever. The size is perfect and I get so many compliments. Most people wouldn’t guess that it wasn’t real. I love it so much that I am hopeful that I’ll be able to wear it in my other hand once I lose the extra weight and am able to wear my original wedding rings again. The quality and look of it far exceeded the price so don’t even second guess getting it.

The stones are 3mm (.12 inches) in diameter. The ring is .4mm wide. The top is slightly thicker in order to accommodate the stones (see photo of ring from side, and ring with penny for scale). The cubic zirconia used has a higher index of refraction (about 2.17) closer to diamond (2.42) than Swarovski crystal (which is actually leaded glass). The index of refraction, if you have forgotten from high school science, is how much light is bent by the material. The more the light is bent the easier it is to make the object sparkle (also depends on how it is cut). This is classy looking ring. I had my daughter, who has a nickel allergy, wear it to test for reactions, and there were none. It is nice that the stones do not go all the way around, it makes the ring more comfortable to wear. The stones are mounted in such a way that they do not have prongs to catch on clothing. China is stamped on the inside of the ring. It comes in a nice black box.

I bought this to wear at work instead of my wedding ring. I work in the healthcare field and am constantly putting on and taking off gloves all day. My wedding ring sits high and can sometimes rip my gloves. This was the perfect ring to wear as a substitute, inexpensive with a low profile. I’ve had it over a year now and it has held up being worn 24/7 with the constant hand washing and daily abuse rings go through. It doesn’t show any nicks, scratches, or signs of tarnishing or fading. Overall great value and pretty ring.
