I love the mix of the industrial metal and the wood top. The size makes it a perfect side or end table. I've included a close up of the top of the table-- the wood top is beautiful. The color is perfect for our living room, it's a beautiful medium brown with a bit of a gray tone from afar. It's a very sturdy side table and is very well made, definitely a quality piece of furniture. It definitely feels solid compared the the current end tables that we have in our living room. I love that it comes fully assembled. When I pulled the box into the living room to open it up I was prepared to sit down with the table and a screwdriver to get it all set up but to my surprise it was already put together.     • Beautiful wood top. Base looks much better than in the photos.
After spending countless hours assembling furniture it's a pleasure to just pull something out of a box (a big box) and have it ready to go ! I don't know my woods so I can't tell you if this is mango or not but it definitely stands out! The surface is not perfectly flat or overly finished so you can see and feel the natural pieces of wood. The X shaped base that you see in the photos doesn't really do it justice. In the photos it looks like a card table but it's much, much nicer in person and the wood/metal contrast really makes it standout. ... show more

I have to start by saying that the table is made of the best materials: wood from mango tree that is considered one of the best for furniture and a very strong and thick iron base. However, it's my personal opinion that this table is very expensive and even with the great quality of the material to make it; the price is not justified. If there were separate options to give stars for price and quality of the product,; I would have given 1-star for price and 4.5 stars for quality. But since its all combined, I would settle for a 3-star rating. I have assembled a lot of furniture and its always time consuming, that is why I delayed opening the box. But when I opened, I was surprised to see that this table was all assembled and ready to use !! And the packaging was one of the best I had seen. They even inserted an empty box bawneen the table. To summarize, it’s a very good table but also very expensive for what you get. ... show more
