Product appears neat and assembles without any issues. Very accurately and neatly manufactured. The instructions are missing a few steps, where the correct orientation of similar pieces that can be assembled in two directions, is not specified. I misunderstood the gas flask holder, but it was easy enough to reverse afterwards. It would have been easy to add a sticker with "top" on each of the the side panels and on the gas tank holder. That would have saved time during assembly. The instructions don't seem to include a way to contact the vendor. It would be crazy to return a $600 item because a $5 electronic igniter is defective, or if I've misunderstood how to assemble it. The instructions clearly state that igniter uses a AA battery, but it does not work. No clicking sound, no sign of any spark, and no actual ignition. The troubleshooting section says "replace battery" which is not very helpful :-) When lit with a match, the flame height is well matched to the table, both on low and high setting. Notice that the "included cover" is a small tin lid for the fire chamber, not an outdoor tarp for the whole table. It was cheap and easy to order a cover, but it's not included, so I recommend ordering one right away. We've only had it a couple of days, but the surface material looks and feels great. The decorative metal crosses that go over the side fabric, seem slightly bent, but this is not an issue at all - the frames are perfectly straight and assemble easily.     • An expensive future pile of rust?

The table looks nice, and is sturdy. However after its very first time out in the rain for a few days, it was leaking a huge amount of extremely rusty water all over my other furniture, staining and getting ready to rust it, too. If that's how must rust is coming out after the first time, I'm not confident this will still be in one piece in a year. At a minimum, I know I need to keep it far from my other furniture, so it doesn't damage the more robust pieces. ... show more

    • Terrible to put together

The machined holes did not line up. Ordered two tables, both had the same issue. Luckily my husband banged on it with a hammer for a while and then swore at it and eventually it went together. Not what I would expect given the cost. Table looks great and is sturdy.

Be prepared to have a second table delivered to you. The welded flanges on the first table were welded at different heights which left one side of the assembled table with a raised end (1/2"). The second table sent to us had a flange that was welded at an angle which would not allow it to slide into the channel on the table. I didn't want to try straightening it because the weld looked weak and didn't want to break it. Luckily one leg from the first table was ok and we were lucky not to have had a third sent. I really like the look of this table. It was straightforward to assemble (once I attached the propane holder correctly). It appears to be sturdy but only time will tell. I have two concerns: 1. the igniter doesn't work. I've seen this in other reviews and I hoped it would be resolved before I received mine, but it wasn't. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 - attention to details and customer convenience. 2. One of the instructions was to make sure the fire table was kept out of the sun. Really??? What a joke! The quality of this thing is just horrible. Stripped out screws, igniter does not begin to work. The door fit is so bad it will only contact one leg of the magnet.
