Seems to be sturdy and well made. Paint job looks good. Bean bags seem rugged. Stitching on the bags seems to be holding up well after about 8 hours of play. I like the way the 2 boards velcro together and the bean bags store inside them. The cover looks good and works well. It's a little tricky to get the cover on the boards until you learn the trick. Stand the joined boards upside down with the rope handles on the ground. With the bag fully unzipped, slide it over the bottom until you reach the ground. Now flip the whole thing right side up and close the zippers. One observation: When the bean bags land on the board surface, they let out a cloud of white dust, but that does not seem to interfere with the play or enjoyment of the game. Plumes of dust smoke out of the bean bags when tossed. The boards are so light that they bounce and move across concrete floors when hit with the force of a 6 year old’s toss. The price is low. I personally would have paid for a more expensive product to get better quality.

I was really excited to buy this for a family event. I knew my little family would get plenty of use out of the set here at home. Unfortunately, one beanbag has already fallen- the stitches ripped along the canvas, and the plastic bag with gravel inside fell out (fortunately without spilling.) It makes me concerned about how long it'll last, as that was only the third time it had been set up. I do like the sturdy feel of the boards, and the canvas carrying bag for the set was a really nice bonus. I'll just need to find better, sturdier beanbags for it. ... show more

Overall the quality of this board is average as is the price. -It isn't all-weather, but isn't advertised as such and few of them are, so put it away between games. -The storage bag (case) is decent, unlike some other models I read reviews on (and rejected). It's not amazing quality, about in line with the boards themselves, but not instant junk like some others. -It is light in weight, which makes it unsuitable for playing on a driveway or other hard surface unless you can brace or anchor it somehow because it jumps when the bags hit it. Playing on grass helps that immensely. -The bags are what prompted my mediocre review. As you can see in the picture, the seam on this one popped after about 3 games. I had to sew it up to keep the fun going, and will see if I can find some better quality ones. These are filled with a large, chunky plastic pellet that simulates real corn pretty well, so maybe the mice will leave it alone 🙂 The fabric seems sturdy (other than the seams that is). -The bags have some sort of talc-like powder that comes out and coats the boards as you play. Not really a concern, but weird and not sure what it is. I wish I could send just the bags back, I don't want to package the whole beast up just for that, so I figured I'd wrote a review instead and go find another set of bags. ... show more

    • Cracked the First Time We Used It!

Disappointed in our purchase! The first time we used it during this pandemic, it cracked along the surface near the edge after my husband threw the first bag. Because we had already disposed of shipping box, we decided to reinforce the area underneath the crack with wood and wood glue. We're hoping it holds. Would not recommend purchasing as top is made of very thin wood. Very disappointed in our purchase. ... show more
