Look, for around 15$-20$, It does the job. I normally use it as a small travel bag to hold my hand towel, tissues, external battery, phone cables, sun glasses, and other small handy items I use on the norm. It’s not a fluffy cloud in terms of comfort, but definitely nothing to complain about. It’s not water proof or water resistant, but it will at least protect your things from light - normal rain for a bit. Exposed to long periods of rain, any kind of heavy rain or just accidentally dropping it in a puddle is asking for your things to get wet. There is also no kind of soft cushion, so if your drop it, anything fragile inside will probably break. If anything sharp or pointy runs into it, it will probably rip. I use it about once a week and the Amazon basics logo is practically falling off by now, but I can’t say that I treat it like a new born baby either. At this price point, you’re are not getting anything high quality or long lasting, let’s be real. In all honesty, it does the job at the most acceptable level and I’m okay with that. If you are not trying to spend 80$+ on a bag, this will do you just fine for your non valuables for a couple years or so. It’s perfect for a gym bag if your just want to put a pair of extra clothes and gym shoes in it.

I like most Amazon Basics products, including this daypack, but of 4 daypacks that I bought, it didn't meet my wants as well as at least one other. What I want in a Daypack: - Packable - Holds my 18oz Yeti firmly - outside pocket(s) - inside pocket(s) - well made - any extras This is good, basic, lightweight, packable daypack. It has 2 zipper pockets - a sideways pocket on the front and a nice pocket on the inside. Problem is, it doesn't hold my Yeti very firmly. The 2 side water bottle pockets are a bit short for a tall water bottle. There aren't really any extras beyond that.

We bought one of these for mom as a packable day pack 4 years ago and it is still the go-to bag for many uses in our family. It has not shown any signs of wear and has been used as a backpack for overnight camping or travel, a day pack folded inside a larger pack for a longer trip, a sports bag for the kids' gear. The kids like it as a light day-hiking pack with more comfortable straps and more compartments than a string bag but without the expense or narrowness of a hiking day pack. Great purchase, and we are getting a couple more so the kids stop taking mom's!

Exactly what I wanted- an unstructured, unlined bag that can be compressed into a pouch when not in use, and just as easily unfurled for a day of site seeing or other activity where something more robust is not needed. I really like the shade of green as well.
