I'll be completely honest here and say that I'm the type to sleep on top of my comforter. I have other blankets that I use over me, and my main comforter is mainly just there for appearances, and I love the plush feeling under me rather than sheets. However, I have also slept under it, so I can vouch for the fact that it is incredibly soft and comfortable on both sides. My sister has tried to steal it from me because she thinks I can't truly appreciate it for how comfy it is to sleep under, haha. Unfortunately, know that the bottom half of the material easily keeps things stuck to it. We have a clothesline outside, and when I first hung this comforter up I made the mistake of letting it run across the ground. It took a good few minutes of plucking to get the leaves and debris out of an extremely small area, and in fact I didn't end up getting ALL of it out since I sleep on top of it anyways, but I thought this annoyance was worth mentioning. I don't think it would be much of a problem for people who don't use a clothesline/or drag blankets around with them. If this blanket is kept safely on the bed with just trips between the washer/dryer, it should probably be fine haha ... show more

These are shockingly nice quilts. The colors are really robust and they are really soft. We bought two, a solid navy color which is very much like cobalt glass blue. We also bought the Teal Plaid which I don't think contains too much if any green. I would call the teal one, light blue and white plaid. The have a weight to them that is comforting and are really quite warm. Not good for a summer bed unless you're always cold. But terrific in the winter. We have two new kittens and their claws can get these to pill a bit but I don't blame the quality of the quilt. I bought this set two Christmases ago and we have worn it out. I needed to replace it so I purchased again this year. I love this set for the holidays. We keep it on through January. It is so soft and warm. The color is marked as burgundy, but I think it is a Christmas red myself. It is a comforter and two shams. We paired this with red and gray flannel sheets and have a warm winter bed perfect for the holidays. Do NOT dry this in the dryer. It will shrink and the sherpa side will ball up a bit. It is also very hard to get Christmas tree needles out of the sherpa side. My husband decorated with a garland over our headboard and two tiny trees and the fake green tree needles are attracted by the Sherapa. The best you can do is to pull them out one by one. You should never dry Sherpa in the dryer anyway because it loses its softness. I wash in the washer on delicate and hang to dry after a good spin in the ol' HE washer. ... show more

I still use this comforter to this day! Very soft and comfy, and as a person who gets cold easy this comforter definitely keeps me warm. It is a heavier material so carrying it down to be washed is a bit of a hassle. Only real downside is that the sherpa material holds on to absolutely everything so I have to wash it once a week to get off any straggling hairs or anything else that attached. I purchased this same comforter 2 years ago. The product wording and details are exactly the same. In fact, I clicked "buy it again." However, this one is more silver than charcoal. It isn't as soft/plush. The weight is the same. It just doesn't have the expensive appearance of the other one. I can use the sheet set that I purchased separately, but the drapes don't match at all. I bought this blanket to match my sheets and I expected something on the cheaper side but the quality on this is insane for the price, it is also pretty heavy which is good. It does stain a bit easy on the Sherpa side but so far everything has washed out. It also leaves you super warm as well, and both sides of it is super soft, great blanket ... show more

Very soft and warm. The comforter is lightweight not heavy. My daughter loves it. Unfortunately straight out of the bag the comforter did have a strong smell. I did place it in the wash and the smell was still there. Comforter washed & dried well with no issues.
