These paper plates I purchased on sale. They are the perfect size for a sandwich and chips & definitely easy to use. . I think they are durable. Paper is better than styrofoam. You can use them for picnics, parties, at home if you don’t want to do dishes. I would think you could reuse them depending on what was on there before. If it was just crackers or something yes. But, Food contamination you obviously would have to watch if you did want to reuse them. My coleslaw didn’t leak thru or leak off so that was good. I would say these are a good size and I honestly would buy them again. They are as good as a name brand but less expensive. ... show more

Safe to use in the microwave not sticky. They're leak proof pretty much as long as it's not soup. Easy to use and doesn't really weigh much. Decent plates at a good price. 8.5 inch plates about the perfect size not to small or too big.

These are great everyday paper plates. They stand-up to liquid, the raised sides eliminate spills, and they have different size options. I get multiple uses out of just one plate. The design is cute, modern, and visually appealing. These are my go-to paper plates.

The media could not be loaded. Although these do seem a little pricey, I think they are worth it. I used to buy the cheapest paper plates (uncoated) for a couple of reasons. First, they were less expensive, and second, I have been forced to purchase the more expensive, coated paper plates. I found that, using the uncoated, it was easy to separate each plate from one another. I use the wicker style paper plate holders, so I initially put 15-25 of these plates in a stack on the plate holder and, as I use them, I take the used one off and throw it away. With the coated plates I find that they are coated with a waxy coating that causes the plates to stick together and they are very difficult to separate one from the next. So often I would wind up throwing away half of the package of paper plates because they stuck together and couldn't be separated. However, the uncoated plates had their own problem. If I was having anything with a sauce (spaghetti, baked beans, even salad with dressing), the sauce would soak through as many as 4 or 5 plates, which then had to be thrown away. These Amazon Basics plates eliminate both of these issues. With the cheaper coated plates, it seemed to me that the manufacturers didn't give enough drying time after coating the plates before they stacked them up. Whatever the coating is that's used, it seems to need time to dry before stacking the plates or else they stick together like glue. These Basics plates use a different type of coating that doesn't cause it to stick to the next plate on the stack. They are also very resistant to absorbing any liquids or sauces from the foods, to the point where, with the simple pass of a disinfecting wipe, the plate could be used multiple times resulting in a net savings in the long run. And no, I'm not so cheap as to want to get more than one use out of every plate I use, but it is nice to know that it's possible. ... show more

Plates are of good quality. Not extra heavy but thick enough for most foods. So far they seem to be leak proof. I haven’t used in microwave so can’t speak on that. Easy to use and good value.
