Works great

Doesn’t feel very durable, but does the job well

Quality for a low price!
Style: Date
Amazon Basics self inking date stamp does not disappoint. I purchased 2 of these (1 for my home office and 1 for my office at work). Amazon Basics beats the price of your local office supply retailer and they deliver. I ordered these on 07/13/2022 and received them the next day 07/14/2022. I would love the date on the stamp to be spaced closer together, but for the price, it's something I am willing to live with. Amazon Basics currently does not sell refill ink pads separately. So if you need more ink, you either have to buy a brand new stamp or buy an ink note separately and manually refill. The 2 I purchased should last me a long while.

Works fine
Style: Date
It works fine. The quality is a little sub par, but it works fine. You can hear the spring inside when you stamp. I hope it holds up for the life of the stamp. I guess for the price, it’s a good deal.

Requires Assembly, Ink Everywhere
Style: Date
This date stamper requires Assembly once received. There are NO instructions included on how to do it. The ink pad has to be removed from a cardboard and plastic housing, then placed above the stamps. This resulted in ink everywhere - a huge mess. I did attempt to use the stamper, but the wheels / dials were extremely hard to turn and very pokey. I even tried using a jar grip opener to turn the wheels, but it really didn't help. I gave up and returned the item. I opted to spend a little more money on a higher quality product which had none of these issues.

Messy!
Style: Date
I got this to use for Postcrossing! Ofc you could write the date but what fun is that? Plus, the space this takes up on the card is minimal. However..there were some issues... First, there are no instructions. However, if you just observe it for a smidge, you'll figure out how it works! I'm a first timer and figured it out so you surely can to! Second, the date is kind of hard to set as the wheels are slightly hard to turn and it's MESSY! Every single time I use it, I swear I don't touch anywhere where ink is...yet I somehow end up with it on my fingers or somewhere else on the stamp. Lastly...I struggle to know which way to stamp! I always have to do a practice stamp to make sure my date is right side up! Am I missing some here? I feel like it should show. That aside..once you get past the issues, it does stamp nice and clear. I just don't know if it's worth the hassle! But it's also almost more hassle to send it back..so here I sit with a messy stamper! x)

Just what I needed
Style: Date
Just what I needed This helps me track when my mail is received when they are not postmarked or dated. Love it!

Alright for the price
Style: Date
It is somewhat hard to adjust the date daily. It should come with a regular ink pad (alright to raise the price accordingly).

Works Well
Style: Date
I use this to mark the egg cartons of when I harvest chicken eggs. Stamps great on fiber cartons, stamps easily on Styrofoam Cartons, and wipes off with a damp paper towel if you want to reuse again and again. A must have for chicken owners.
