These notebooks are nice. They have a place keeper ribbon as well. The paper quality is decent, but it does bleed a bit if you're a foutain pen fan so be careful. They are large and would be suitable for journaling or for writing your novel. The reason I took a star off, and my only complaint: the cover is made out of a material that stains from just touching it so I would recommend putting a protective cover so you dont have to look at the oil stains from clean hands on the cover. Fabric covers or paper covers would work well - there are YouTube videos to show you how to DIY a paper one for cheap. ... show more

These note pads are exactly what I wanted. A step up from a college ruled note book. Works easy and great for writing. The pages have tear away lines already pre punched if you want to take the pages out. The paper quality is great, the spacing for the lines is just right. Great gift idea.
