Personally, I found that removing the charging platform and the controller holders was MUCH better than just having them, it gave way for more surface space for storage boxes that I commonly use. I'll admit i use it more for working as an artist, and less as a gamer however that doesn't change just how nice and sturdy the design of this table. I love the 2nd shelf for monitors, and makes me confident to add multiple monitors in the future as I work, and possibly live stream more often. I'd say this is a medium sized desk (see picture). It fits my ultrawide monitor perfectly. Plenty of space around my mouse and keyboard. I will most likely remove the monitor stand as it makes the monitor a bit too high for long term comfort for a 5'5" person like me. Ample leg room to move around in my chair. I will report back once I've adjusted everything to fit my needs. Fortunately, my desk arrived in perfect condition (no dents or anything) EXCEPT the phone/tablet stand. In the picture you can see it's slanted to the left so it's not aligned at all with the table. I don't really care about it because it's just an optional accessory and has no impact on the desk quality itself. The other accessories that came with are very useful and helps free up desk space. The desk is 3/4 in thick which makes it pretty thick and sturdy. There's no weird protrusion under the desk so I can easily attach items with clamps like my small fan and soon a monitor arm. I paid for this during Prime Day at more than half the regular price which is perfect for the quality. I'm not sure if I'd buy it a regular price but I recommend it when it's on sale. ... show more

I bought this desk for college in my new apartment. The directions were very clear and It made the assembling process very easy. The desk is sturdy and it has felt pads on the bottom of the stabilizers to keep from scratching the floor. Overall its a nice set up for a simple gaming set up. If you are a hard core gammer looking to put time into streaming I wouldn't recommend. There is not enough desk space for a tricked out keyboard, camera, mic, and more than one screen. Also you couldn't have space for snacks. Its also a pain to put together and took me a long time to get it all in place. Its not the sturdiest. If someone was to fall and caught themselves one the desk this thing would go especially if it is not pressed up against a wall.
