IT'S A PRODUCT USED IN HOSPITALS AND HANDY TO KEEP ON HAND TO CLEAN A WOOUND. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUB IT ON A WOUND--JUST POUR IT ON THE WOUND TO STERILIZE IT. ALTHOUGH THE SINK, FOR EXAMPLE, WHERE YOU POUR IT MIGHT LOOK ORANGE IT IS SOAP AND THEREFORE WILL RINSE RIGHT OFF. IT ARRIVED INTACT-NO SPILLS OR LEAKS IN THE PACKAGING.

I had a foot wound. My podiatrist said to treat it with Betadine. I knew I had a bottle at home so I thought, good, I don't need to buy anything. Well, that bottle was three years expired. I don't know if Betadine actually goes bad but decided to not take a chance. This is an inexpensive option.
