I would say that you can purchase a better one if you fish out a little more cash. The delivery driver threw my package over the gate. I don’t know how you could throw something this heavy over a 6 foot long gate, but they did. And I’m pretty sure it did some damage to the package because some of the wood inside was chipped. And even if it were not for the fall, most of the wood I received was chipped or damaged. When I extend the table at its standing position it is not stable and it will tilt. I put my MacBook on it and the little screws that make it so you can adjust the table do not help. Only one of them screws properly into the holes, and the other one does not screw in at all so it does not stand how it should unless it is not extended. basically I have received a faulty product, The wood was chipped and the more sturdy parts that should have been sturdy was not sturdy, and the delivery driver just threw my package over the gate and did not even wait for me although I was home. I would not recommend, I do not want a replacement. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these as I teach in two buildings. I am so glad I invested in this type of podium; it being on wheels is a life saver. Assembly was easy enough. I did both at the same time step by step completely by myself, so it was time consuming, but very easy to follow. I recently purchased a wire basket as shown in one review, as I think the added storage will be helpful. I teach music so I'm constantly using manipulatives and materials during the day. There is a great deal of storage on the lower shelf of the podium, but I just don't like having to bend down and dig around for it each time I need it. Hope this helps! ... show more

I bought this to use as a portable studio cart for my basement. It went together pretty easily and it wheels around well. Adjusting the table top up and down is kind of pain since the brackets don't stay in place real well, so you have to mess with it a bit. But I leave it mostly in the "up" position anyway since I have rackmount gear under it, so it's only a minor annoyance. ... show more

    • As a new teacher this is a great moving desk!
The only drawback of this is that it didn't have a tilted top and it was built for shorter people. I am 5'5" and I have the top at the highest level when using it as a standing desk. It is sturdy and will fit what I plan to use it for and it was cost effective!

I bought this as an open box/used item for $45. As others have commented, the table top is small. I crafted a solid oak top to give the desk some needed aesthetic appeal, a little more space, and some additional sturdiness. I love this table! It has four levels. A shelf on the bottom with a closed back so things don't slide out the other side. One that is kind of a like a draw. I would have preferred a draw and that is why it has 4 stars instead and five. The top is kind of narrow but I like it because it has adjustable top shelf too! ... show more

    • Fit my needs, but...
The media could not be loaded. Firstly, this unit came with a broken caster/wheel, so it’s never been 100%; however, it fits my needs well—a mobile home studio rack. It would be much better if I could get a new wheel. But for now, Alice’s Flip Book keeps it stable.
