I would be careful with these shelves, they are extremely lightweight. I am not sure what the shelves are made of but they almost seem like a balsa wood extremely cheap and really lightweight. They aren’t heavy or the best quality but they work. They are sturdy and nice looking. I don’t need the most expensive or thickest piece of wood. So for the price they are great!

Love the style and vibe of the brackets. The boards are junk. Super soft and fake wood. Like balsa wood airplanes that break the first time you fly them. I could easily make a dent or scratch with my fingernail in them. Since you get so many brackets and shelves, it was more cost effective to keep them since I really like the brackets, and buy some inexpensive wood shelving at a home improvement store. Sure, I had to stain the real wood, but I got a better looking and better quality shelf to go with the cool brackets. Works for me, but not as they came in the box. ... show more
