They look just as pictured but the material is super light. I’m scared to put too much on it because it doesn’t feel like it can hold that much weight. They look nice but I wish the wood was real

My wife wants to display magazines on a wall in the den to get them off the benches. We selected these and we liked the construction and finish of the wood. It included screws and plastic wall anchors. The holes are on 16 inch centers, so that was a plus. The ad photo with measurements is misleading. It shows 17” long, 6” deep and 1.5” high. Since they are showing half inch increment for the height it’s unclear why they wouldn’t for the length which is actually 16.5”. The actual depth or storage space available is 4.75” due to the raised edges on the front and back. The wood is not finished.
