I love these things. They’re super easy to mount and you can choose to have the brackets on the bottom or top. As with other reviews, the wood is basically balsa wood but thick enough that they’ll support a decent amount of weight. These are designed for small things, Knick-knacks, etc. look great when mounted and assemble in minutes.

I really do like these shelves, but each wood piece was exactly the same size at a little over 14" not the different sizes as advertised so you could customize if you lik . I had it all mapped out where I wanted them and which one to use where but I had to change that all around. I had some help with my project and it wasn't until my kid started varnishing them to match my vanity that I noticed. They end up looking fine, but it wasn't as planned. A lot of the reviews received the correct ones so thinking it was a fluke, and needing another set of shelves that I knew would varnish the same shade I ordered another set and it happened again. So be warned, you might get the four various sizes so you can customize, and you might get four 14 inch-ish shelves instead.

Love these super cool shelves. Very light and easy to install. Many ways to use. Attached pictur on how I used in my bedroom. Paired with some glow in the dark ocean themed stickers bought on Amazon. Worth the purchase.

The shelf looks good but they're much smaller than they look in the picture. These would be good for small decorations and very small books but even average sized books stick out over the edge of the shelf and are too big.

Assembly required a bit of effort as the shelves do not come predrilled. I would recommend using a power drill to make things easier. The shelves themselves are light weight, perhaps slightly heavier than styrofoam. They look very nice but they are somewhat porous (had drywall particles stuck in the plank). Be mindful of the configuration of the brackets. I had one configuration where one bracket is one top and the other one on the bottom but it turns out that that kind of configuration would not allow the back of the shelf to be flush against the wall (one of the brackets created a tiny lip—see photo). To level the back of the shelf, I used foam tape. Overall, the product is functional and visually pleasing for an industrial farm design.
