Do not buy these through Amazon. I purchased these Altras on 3/17/25 (3 months ago) and have run less than 20 miles on them indoors on a treadmill and the colored rubber on the bottom of the right shoe is already peeling off. I thought I was purchasing directly from Altra’s Amazon storefront but the order was actually fulfilled by “Stride8 Sports” who refuse to help me. Other than this defect, I really love the shoes but they are not worth the price if the one year warranty is null and void due to a third party seller fulfilling the order. ... show more

Wonderful shoes! I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day at work and my feet don't hurt after my shifts with my Altras. They are sturdy, comfortable and durable. I also love the color! I paired mine with ribbon shoelaces with flowers that matched and look great! Good support, comfortable wear.

They are light weight. The toe box is wide and round, no pressure on the bones allowing the toes to spread naturally. I tried them out on my treadmill and noticed the difference immediately. My feet and gait straightening out., no painful pressure on the left small toe and the bones. I have edema swelling that was causing the problem with the width in my old Saucony walking shoes. I ordered my regular size in a B width and it is perfect. I read about Altra brand with the wide round toe box in the N.Y. Times wellness section. My feet are happy again.
