  • Great Running/Walking Shoes
Size: 7 Color: Navy
Love these shoes. They are light in weight, fit to size, comfortable, supportive, great selection of colors and worth the price. The only drawback are the shoe laces do not stayed tied. Double tie is required.

  • Great fit - nice support & cushioning
Size: 9 Color: Navy
I don't usually go for shoes with a lot of midsole. These aren't as "fluffy" as Hoka shoes... but pretty cushy. I have a difficult fit, very high arches, narrow heel and prefer a wide toe box. These actually work pretty well for me. I can lace them securely and they don't twist around my foot if I land on an uneven surface. My heels don't come up/out. I cannot remove them without untying them - that's a first for me. The toe box is very wide (almost looks a goofy, actually), and my toes can spread out & stabilize my foot. I will say that I didn't put my orthotics inside at first. I had to wait for the insole & midsole to break down a bit. Now that I have, my arches and transverse arches feel a lot better, but it increased heel slipping a little. I still love the shoes. ... show more

  • Wide toe box/comfortable
Size: 7 Color: White/Green
I was so sick of reading reviews “looks so cute” “love the colors” blah! I wouldn’t care if these shoes look like new born baby poop, as long as I can run in these RUNNING shoes. I am NOT a strong runner but I sure do try! I do a lot of research on these shoes and i decided to try them. And let me tell you, I am so happy I did. My issue is placement of my feet striking the ground, I heel stop the earth. These shoes really did help adjust that almost forced. I can tell the difference and I can feel an actual stride and have now been able to run a few miles! They also have a beautiful wide toe box. I do not have elf feet but more like caveman wide flat feet. These shoes, fit them. ... show more

  • Need longer shoe laces
Shoe laces are way too short. I can buy longer ones but they won't have the color tip on the ends. The right shoe feels fine, however, the left shoe, where I have had multiple surgeries is tight, hopeing it will loosen up. They are really cute and I love the wide toe box but still not sure about fit. ... show more

  • Comfortable shoe
Size 10, I tried these shoes on in REI, they seemed to always be out of my size, then found them on Amazon. I'm a nurse and on my feet or on the move daily. Had developed a corn on my little toe these allow room for my toes taking pressure off that corn. They look great with scrubs, leggings or jeans ... show more

  • Good shoes
Size: 6.5 Color: Sand
I love these shoes! I trained for my first marathon in these. I mostly ran trails, but they were great for when I ran on the road too. They did feel a little snug on the top and I felt like I could size up, but the toe box was great! They lasted me a season and did rip along the sides after a few months, but that could have been because I just wore them so much. ... show more

  • Lost Toenails
Altras were recommended by family and friends. I own five pairs (different models) and happened to have gradually lost my big toenail on each foot. My doctor suggested that it may be the shoes I was wearing, but I dismissed this as I got the same size shoe that I've worn for my 40+ years of running (though with different brands). In the meantime my podiatrist prescribed orthotics due to an ankle injury. The custom orthotics were too long to fit in my Altras, so I returned to wearing my former brand of running shoes. So glad I did, as my toenails finally started growing back in normally. This is when I discovered how much shorter the Altras are than other brands. I suspect the rubber sole that points upward towards my big toe is the main problem. I still have the five pairs of altras as I bought them for the wide toe box, but I only wear them when I know I won't be on my feet for long (like running errands). Hoping to discover a brand that makes similar shoes with the right length and does not have the sole rise up in front of the big toe. ... show more
