I have been buying Altra shoes for a while. It is a great shoes for people who has a flat & wide feet. I believe that so far I have bought about 5 pairs of Altra superior 5 trail shoes and I just love them. It is not only super comfortable to wear for the wide & flat foot people, but it also has enough support to do a trail run. I wanted to try out this Lone peak 6 because it looked much more sturdy as a trail shoes. It does offer many similar characteristics as the Superior 5, but it comes with much cushiony bottom. I guess that is for the hard impacts running on trail. Also, it seems bit larger (longer) than my Lone peak. Both, I bought 9.5 and this one seems like size 10, not 9.5 But it has a great big and comfortable toe box and my feet are so happy inside. So, I am keeping them.

Judged by Running magazine as the best shoe of the year. I bought it and NO surprise! The best shoe I ever owned! I liked it so much I got second pair. Love them for running and walking. Seriously this product is a bomb! What matters though is how you lace it… first pair fir like a glove with slightly bigger toe box (as expected), but second pair needed multiple lace adjustment… finally they feel, look, and wirk the same as first pair. Never could have thought lacing could give so much wiggle and shape changing room. If you think at some sections shoes are too tight, play with lacing, at the end you will get your perfect fit. The best shoe ever. Like them so much I am really tempted to try new model Lone Peak 7. They definitely beat Nike for running.

First off I purchased this product because I do a lot of walking at work climbing up ladders etc so my main requirements are comfort and traction. The wide toe box and even sole make these sneakers very comfortable and stable my feet never feel like they are dipping or turning when walking and the deep grooves and knobs on the bottom of the sole provide added traction. These sneakers are also very breathable with lightweight fabric and they are light. So based on my usage I think they are near perfect.

OMG, I have wide feet and bunions and tophaceous gout, so finding shoes that actually fit and don’t aggravate my ailments is a godsend. My shoe size is 9EE, but with all my feet issues I have to buy my shoes in 9.5 or 10EEEE just so they don’t hurt. I took a chance and ordered a pair of Altra Lone Peak 6 in size 9W. Guess what? They fit like they used my feet for the lasts. Very comfortable, doesn’t aggravate my feet. I can run pain free. Thank you, Altra.

I absolutely love these shoes. Both my wife and I wear altra lone peak 6 for not only our hiking needs but also our daily wear shoes at the hospital we work for. These shoes are super grippy on slick surfaces and in general very comfortable. They have a couple of great features that make us happy are the built in Velcro on the heel for gaiters and they dry super fast. These are simply an excellent piece of equipment for hikers everywhere

I usually get size 11.5 (US) when I get regular width shoes; size 11 with wide fit. As I have Morton's toes, I've experienced times when the 2nd toes on both feet rub with the tip of other shoes that I own, and that can get uncomfortable. There was that slight issue with the LP-6, but after a long day of walking and a 5 km run, the fit got better. Maybe the shoes got broken in. Cushioing is great, so is the traction - on asphalt and especially on trail - and it had just rained when I ran. Can be a bit slippery on pebble wash floors though. But overall, I am happy with this pair.

It took me a week or two to get used to these shoes because they have zero drop. I wear them with the power step insoles. After my body adjusted, they feel good and comfortable. I’ve had them for around three months and I’ve noticed some wear at the heel on the inside of the shoe. The shoes are very wide, so if you have wide feet, these are the ones for you, they almost have too much room for me. I would probably buy again, but maybe go a half size down.

I sometimes I hit golf balls with my training shoes on. The shoes with 6-8 drop tend to bring your weight forward, which is very bad for a golf swing. These shoes are 0 drop. They are very comfortable and allow for correct balance when swinging a golf club. They also give you a small, but functional stretch of the gastroc/soleus complex. I am 64 with 2 total knee replacements. I use the shoes for walking and elliptical. Running is in my past. But I recommend these shoes
