  • Great light weight boot / shoe
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
I am a flight nurse in helicopter. The boots are light weight great for dry environment. I did have to break them in, they did not come out of the box comfortably like sneakers. It took a few wears for them to be comfortable. I like they are very flexible footwear. I wear them to work, the gym and with jeans. I was debating on purchasing a second set. ... show more

  • Great shoes for everyday use.
I’ve been basically wearing these shoes every day with few exceptions and have had NO problems with them. My use though is just some light walking and working retail but these are comfy shoes that are far less conspicuous than tactical boots with comparable quality. Great buy that I plan to repeat again in a different color. ... show more

  • Nice shoe
Size: 11 Color: Olive Drab
Excellent shoe but they forgot to stitch that customary lace loop on the tongue and as a result, the tongue doesn't remain straight and I constantly have to adjust it because my OCD will not allow it.

  • Good for patrol but suck for long periods of standing. Little to no arch support
Size: 12 Color: Olive Drab
They are true to size and work good for patrol/SWAT callouts. They are not however practical for long periods of standing.

  • Read reviews
Size: 15 Wide Color: Black Multicam
I'm glad I was able to purchase these. I wear a 15 in most shoes, if I can find my size. I read reviews that say they run a bit small, so I ordered the wide in a 15. I'm so happy I did. My feet are actually narrow, and long, so I was expecting my feet to be slopping inside, but they actually fit just perfect. Which means, order a larger size or wide to get the right fit. The quality is..... I'm not sure how to describe. They seem well made, I don't see them falling apart prematurely, but there is glue from production all over these bad boys. Which in itself is horrible cause it's difficult to get off, makes shoes look cheap and walmartish. Comfort, ok. I guess they have a somewhat specific purpose. The insole isn't my favorite, but it never bothers me. The high ankle that is stiff and padded irritates me when I drive or need to kneel doing baseboards or something, but overall, I'm happy with comfort. Finally, these are a crossover boot/shoe. Know that first. They are purpose built, no big branding, and seemingly tough and durable boot. I'd rather wear theses over Chucks, as these have more material and seem more durable. Get a size bigger, or order wide ... show more

  • Comfortable but sticky
Comfortable shoes. Only complaint is every time I put them on, the grippy insoles grab on to my socks like they owe money and there trying to get away. Same when removing the shoes. The insole always comes out with my foot. And yes I'm loosening them all the way. Beside the death grip they give when putting on and taking off; these are comfortable shoes. If you want a wide toebox, go with the wider size. Gave 4 stars for the daily fight to mount and dismount these bad boys. Cheers 🍻 ... show more

  • Buying a W version isn't a suggestion
Size: 11.5 Color: Black
I have two separate pairs and unfortunately I can’t wear the one pair any longer because I forgot to buy the white version. And as a duty shoe if you have a wide toebox it’s the difference between good and bad

  • Great for diving
Size: 11.5 Color: Black
I ordered these from a couple vendors to try sizes so I'm copying this review from one other. I've worn these for casual wear, hiking and scuba diving. They are good for a simple tougher replacement to converse, etc. I find them more comfortable than similar shoes. I would not attempt to compare them to other light hiking boots, trail runners or other heavy boots. These are best described as converse all stars with mesh padding, rubber insole and better rubber sole. I found the sole adequate for most light hiking and particularly good on jagged rock. The tread is not deep enough for mud and wet clay, but compromises have to be made somewhere. The drainage port (?) seems to be in a spot that I tend to step into rocks with and snags in a way I have not experienced with other boots or shoes. I'd be okay with up to 10 miles hiking on mountain trails with these, but would want something more comfortable and/or substantial for longer hikes or with a heavy pack. I have used these for approximately 40 scuba dives including about 20 shore entries/exits. They are great in the fins and the stiffer sole seems to help with power transfer to the fins. The drain ports and rubber sole work as designed and are excellent. They have great traction and protection (jamming feet into unseen rocks) entering/exiting. The mesh interior is very comfortable but does seem to trap sand once it's in the boot and will lead to chafing on land if not cleared. The pull tabs on the back are great for pulling the boot on when wet, but are annoyingly in the way if you wear these casually with pants. As for fit, I typically wear a 11 or 11.5. I have rarely needed to wear a wide, but one foot is on the cusp of needing it. I tried these in both sizes and both widths. I kept the 11 regular for a fit similar to most other shoes and boots I own as long as I wear these with thinner socks. These are narrower (forefoot) than the majority of shoes I own and I could probably go either way. ... show more
