Before I bought it, I thought about getting similar parts at my local hardware super store. I went a head and ordered it anyway. Well, first instincts are best, because there is nothing special about this kit and since I am a fix it guy, no problems. I had to use some better drywall mounting hardware and even with this, shaky at best, but it does work. Probably won't last long though. Save your money and buy the hardware yourself or go with a full wood horizontal mount and use the wall studs. ... show more

The wall mount idea should be simple enough. But the dry wall anchors they provide you with the screws do not work. And is a waste of money. Do not bother buying.

The drywall anchors simply don't work, and if you try to drill far enough in to actually secure the mount to the wall, the screw simply pushes through the rubber grommet, rendering it useless.
