Overall, I’m satisfied with the product. The leather is very thick and high-quality as expected from Alpinestars. I had one minor quality issue which was the stitching on the Velcro tab at the top of the zipper was coming apart right out of the box. Not a big deal If you have a needle and thread (floss is stronger than most threads actually). I have a 38 1/2 inch chest, and the size 40 US was slightly snug for my athletic/built body (which is the proper way to wear a jacket since it holds the pads in the correct location). I used to have a size 52 US leather Alpinestars jacket which was more comfortable because of the looser fit, but it was too long in the torso which made it bulge out in the stomach area when in the riding position on a sport bike. I am 5‘9“ and 155 pounds. Despite having stretch material all on the inner arm, I found that the wrist opening was a little snug, and it is hard to zip up the wrist opening over my gloves. I have skinny wrists but would have to cinch my gloves all the way down to make them fit under the wrist openings of the jacket. I may end up getting gauntlet gloves to go over the jacket instead. The airflow is pretty decent, and is as expected from a perforated jacket. It is a good bang for the buck jacket, though I feel like alpine stars could have at least included a thin foam pad for the back protection. I may end up buying a back protector, but I wouldn’t have considered it had they included a light one. ... show more

While this jacket is very comfortable, it needs to be worn to loosen up the leather. Once that happens it's very nice to wear. Also, I'm only 5'7 and needed to order a bigger size because I have a bigger chest so the sleeves are a tad longer.

A perfect jacket for casual riding. Very comfortable once its broken in. I wouldn't wear this jacket above 80/85 degree weather as the ventilation is not designed for high temps. This jacket will be perfect for Spring/Fall rides.

Love this jacket. Its heavy but breathes. Has arm and shoulder padding. You need to get a back protector. Looks great, is pretty slimming. Nice zippers and overall construction. I feel more confident I wont become a meat crayon.

I wasn't sure about the sizes so I've tried 52 where my size is Medium so it's perfect fit. I'm not sure how it woud be with a size bigger but this one fits me well and looks really good.

I have 42 US size chest and this 40 US/50Euro size jacket fits perfectly. Jacket is heavy and makes you look slimmer somehow. I like it !
