I needed two robes for house guests - didn’t want to pay a small fortune but still wanted to impress my family and friends. I’ve washed them once and they feel as soft as before. Note: I washed them in cold and dried on low dryer setting to ensure no shrinking. The velour on outside and terry inside is luxurious. They are thick and heavy. They are a tad on the short side but we live in a warmer climate so length is comfortable. I bought women’s L/XL and they are big on someone who wears a small, but spa robes are usually oversized. If you are a larger person, you might consider ordering this robe in the men’s sizing. I also ordered the white, so can’t comment on the color or wash ability of the colors. ... show more

Robe is great. Very pretty. Got the royal blue. Love it. Fits well and tie is long enough. Could do without the top pocket. It's placed a bit high. So soft and terry inside is absorbent.

Got this for girlfriend as one of her Xmas presents. She informed me she has never liked bath robes and didn't want to waste my money so I should return it. I told her this one is highly rated on Amazon and is probably better than what she experienced prior. She agreed to keep it and after a week said she loves it. It's like a thick, heavy coat. She says it's thick enough to be warm out of the shower and absorbs lots of water, plus it has a plush feel. She is 5'4" and barely over 100 lbs but says it's not too heavy for her considering she doesn't have to wear it very long. ... show more

I’ve been wanting a new robe for sometime now, but I wanted a robe with a certain type of fabric so that when I got out of the shower, it wouldn’t stick to my skin or get my robe all soaking wet. I received this robe as a gift. The quality is very nice and thick. It's not as soft as imagined, definitely more of a towel feel than super soft but I am fine with that. The arms are very wide and overall allows lots of free movement. Very comfortable and warm.
