Overall - choose the lube that works best for you and your partner. For me and my wife, Aloe Cadabra's lube works best. (Note: I can only speak to the effectiveness of this lube for vaginal intercourse.) Some details: Comfort: 5/5 - Most brands of lube are irritating and cause discomfort for my wife. This brand is one of the only options we've found that is comfortable for her, and out of those options, it's by far the best. This will obviously differ based on your sensitivity (and that of your partner), but if you're struggling to find a comfortable option, I would definitely recommend trying this one. It definitely feels natural and not like you're putting chemicals in your body, so that's definitely a positive as well. Stickiness: 3/5 - My biggest issue with Aloe Cadabra is that it does get sticky pretty quickly, so if you're not producing enough lubricant naturally, you'll have to continuously reapply, which can sometimes get in the way (especially since its small size means it's easy to lose it in the bedsheets). Size/quantity per bottle: 3/5 - Because it gets sticky quickly and you have to reapply often, you can find yourself running out pretty quickly. Price: 4/5 - Because of its smaller size and stickiness, the price is potentially a bit high, since you're likely to run out fairly quickly. If you find other lubricants comfortable, I might recommend looking for a cheaper option before trying this one. However, if, like us, you find that other lubricants are irritating and you're looking for an option that feels more natural, this is an excellent choice. Ultimately, if this lube didn't get sticky so quickly, it would be a five star review despite the price and size. Currently going through hormonal changes, I’ve used several lubricants before and this is the best! It feels natural and doesn’t irritate me (I’m sensitive). Doesn’t have silicone, propylene glycol, or beeswax, which is great because I don’t tolerate them.

Many lubricants cause a small burning sensation, so I set out to find ones that didn’t. I ended up trying three. Love Sesh (Playground), Aloe Cadabra (Natural Aloe), and Almost Naked (Good Clean Love). All three passed the ‘no burning test’. Below is my assessment of them. Love Sesh - Was the most expensive ($20) - Carried a smell (not unpleasant) in the bottle, which grew stronger on the skin. (Like a minty vanilla?) - Is almost—sticky? (When poured in my hand it strings when I pull my fingers apart.) {3/5} - while the smell on the skin was pleasant, the price and feel or the product left me unhappy. (I can’t speak to the longevity during use as it wasn’t the one I went with) Aloe Cadabra - 1/2 the price of Love Sesh, but not cheaper than Almost Naked - No smell in the bottle, but chemical (unpleasant) smell on the skin - When in my hand, the lubricant felt good—not tacky {3/5} - While the price and feel were ultimately better than the prior choice, the scent on the skin was a turn off. (I can’t speak to the longevity during use as it wasn’t the one I went with) Almost Naked - The cheapest of the three (I think $7.99), the price was way more palatable - Almost a vanilla scent in the bottle, which carries through onto the skin - Similar tackiness to Love Sesh, but almost thicker - When in use, works as it should {4/5} *the winner* - Based on the price, smell, and effectiveness during use, Almost Naked was the one I would purchase again. ** As these products are non refundable—I will use the Love Sesh before purchasing more of the Almost Naked. I wasn't going to review this because hey it's personal lubricant. That's not awkward at all. Well... here's my story. I didn't used to have issues with severe dryness. I had a baby(at 29yrs old. Currently 31yrs) and she's almost 2 in November(first child and only for now). I have been on the depo shot since the 6-8wk after birth appointment (December 28th 2020). My body has changed. I now experience severe pain and dryness during sex. We would have to stop and I'm in real tears from the pain(embarrassing but the ugly truth). Apparently my birth control depo shot dries you out down there...like bad... I can change birth control but can't right now. (I want to add I had a csection so no vaginal issues from birth) My husband is very patient and understanding(he treats me great). Yall also know after having a child... it's kinda hard to "find the time" for sex. When we can... I do like this lubricant. We have always for years have used astroglide. Until my issues with dryness. Astroglide burns when we use it now especially if I'm bleeding from rawness. It doesn't take much to make me raw/bleed now(even for days after...). So this does help me from getting too raw and I can enjoy our time together. It's not the miracle cure we always hope to find in whatever situation. But I have ordered I wanna say 4-5 times now. I've ordered the peppermint which I don't recommend at all unless you like your junk iced down...smells good but dang it burns too. We washed the peppermint off right away and tossed it into the trash...not happy the money we wasted on that. I've ordered the Pina colada which no problem with that or the Vanilla. We used the whole bottle on those and now on the aloe vera. It works fine too. I don't find this sticky or irritating or don't regret buying. I say if you have hormone issues then try this brand. Couldn't hurt. I took the chance and I'm a return buyer. My husband is kinda picky when it comes to lube. I used to like the warming kind back few years ago. He didn't like it. I think that was astroglide or Trojan... not sure. If the lube appears sticky or thick... it's not being used. I was scared at first because this looked thick (it looks like real aloe vera from the plant but thinner which is great). But since with my issues he wanted to try for me. We were surprised and I'm glad it worked for him too. So long story short.... I do recommend this. Wish they made bigger bottles my only issue with this brand. I put 3 stars on longevity because everyone is different so I thought 3 stars worked fine for a review ... show more
