This is a cute two-piece romper set that neatly sidesteps the whole pink-versus-blue situation without making a big deal about it. Whether the parents don’t know the gender, don’t want to share it, or just don’t buy into color-coded identities, this covers all the bases without commentary. The palette is a very agreeable set of 1970s browns, which somehow manages to feel both retro and calm. It’s well stitched, feels sturdy without being stiff, and the fabric is soft enough that you don’t worry about it annoying a small, opinionated human. Nothing scratchy, nothing flimsy. It looks intentional, wears well, and solves a problem that doesn’t need to be a problem in the first place. As baby shower gifts go, this one’s a winner.

I bought this for my newborn son to wear during the warmer months. I love the material, the style, and the font. I'm sure my son would agree with me The fabric feels nice and soft. He looks so comfortable every time he wears it. It’s lightweight, but it doesn’t feel thin or cheap. The color is even and hasn't faded despite multiple washes. The lettering has also kept its form. The snaps on the onesie make changes go very quickly, which is a huge plus in my book. Unfortunately, the onesie seemed unusually short and wide. It still kind of fits him, but it is definitely different than his other outfits of the same size. The shorts fit him fine and give him plenty of room to move around. The stitching on the lettering looks great, with nothing coming loose so far. I love that it is such a fun and bold font. It really stands out on the outfit, and he gets tons of comments with it on. Other than the unusual sizing, it's a fun outfit for summer and one that mothers, especially, will enjoy showing off their son in.

I picked up this “New to the Crew” newborn outfit set, and it’s one of those pieces that’s just really cute without trying too hard. The first thing I noticed is the waffle knit fabric. It’s soft, lightweight, and breathable, which is perfect for summer babies. It has a little texture to it, so it looks nicer than a basic onesie but still feels comfortable enough for everyday wear. What I like most is the embroidered detail on the romper. Review of the ALLSHOPE New To The Crew, Newborn Baby Boy Summer Outfit Set... What I like: * The quality of this onesie and shorts set is incredible, especially for the price point. ($14.99 at the time of this review) * Even with the large waffle weave, the fabric is very soft to the touch * I ran my hands inside the outfit, and it is soft throughout. The seams aren't stiff in any way that would cause sensory issues or irritation. * The "drawstring" is not functional, just decorative, so I don't have to worry about it coming loose in the wash. * The material is thicker, but breathable, so baby can regulate their temperature more easily, and may not need an extra blanket. * The outfit runs slightly large, but still within the typical sizing measurements of other brands in this size. * The dusty blue color is lovely and would also match any other pieces in the baby's closet. * The embroidery is well done and does not leave a scratchy backing on the interior of the onesie. What I wish was different: * The snaps on the onesie are plastic. They function just fine, but I always feel like machine-drying them alters them just enough to make it hard to open or close them. (Experienced with other brands, not this particular onesie)

SO soft! I absolutely love baby clothes because they are typically exceptionally soft but these are one of those times that you really wish they made adult clothes out of these types of materials. Sadly I will have to live vicariously through my nephew. The outfit is absolutely adorable and the color is spot on to the photo in the advertisement. It also appears really well made for baby clothes, which sometimes don't have the best attention to detail This outfit's stitching seems to be even and doesn't miss any bits to where the hems come out. All around a nice outfit.
