Bought product based off specs given and was severely disappointed. I had multiple bolts torqued at all different specs and this unit couldn't handle anything above 30 ft/lbs. Tried both batteries at full charge and still couldn't perform even half of the torque specified on the description. Features on unit, besides the actual torque, are nice and function as they should. Please modify your expectations if you decide to purchase this unit. If it was less expensive and properly advertised I probably wouldn't be upset, if I still decided to purchase it. Product arrived in OK condition, nothing was properly fastened in the container, container is a nice to have for the unit. I like this product. It easily removes nuts & bolts as it should. [When I purchased this product, in the title was a claim that it could tighten up to 75-ft.lbs. of torque. There is still a claim or two in the body of the advertisement, but no one really reads all of that do they?] ~~But there is NO WAY this thing goes to 75 ft-lbs of torque. Not even close.~~ ~~I'd be generous saying~~ it takes care of 45-50ft-lbs (I tested it on a variety of nuts that I torqued to different values). (To the seller's credit, when they saw my review, they immediately tried to make it right. They offered to replace the product. I replied "I'm not sure how a new one will solve the issue of your falsely claiming that it torques to 75 ft-lbs. If you stand by that claim, then maybe I received a bad product." At that time, seller offered to refund me the purchase price if I was to amend my opinion of the product. So here we are. They did refund me, less a $15 fee, after trying to weasel out of it three times, but they did keep their end of the bargain. So it goes. Once again, I like this product a great deal. And I'm thankful that the seller amended their claims.) [I just like the following, so I am keeping this in. It does not reflect entirely on the seller any longer. It only reflects on them a little. Absolutely not 75 ft-lbs of torque. Not even close. Maybe 35 ft-lbs, but even that is questionable. Tested on several nuts torqued with a torque wrench, and results were at most half what is advertised. Pretty disappointed by that. Falsely claiming that it torques to 75 ft-lbs is misleading. I like the concept of this product, maybe I got a bad one. But more likely the descriptions is unrealistic. Description states 16V it's a 20V [ they changed the description after purchase] - it's only around 40ftlb, not the 75 advertised. It comes with ONE battery, not two as stated. speed is good not too fast. Lock feature is nice. Works well. Battery is the same 20/21V battery used on manyy of the inexpensive tools [ it fits my 6" chainsaw so now I have 3 batteries!! ] Good unit - just very disappointed in the description ... show more
