    • Arrives with a dead battery / Only 1 set of leads
It works just fine, but you'll have to buy your own 9V battery. Also, there's some false advertising here - the main photo shows three different sets of leads, you only get one (standard alligator clips, maybe 4 or 5 inches of wire).

    • When is a 'good' capacitor not a 'good' capacitor?
When precision is vital and the multimeter isn't accurate enough. Multimeters have lower accuracy and precision when it comes to measuring components like inductors and capacitors, whereas an LCR meter is designed specifically for those measurements. I've had capacitors test as within spec with a multimeter yet show as problematic with an LCR meter. ... show more
