This sunscreen has a Boots star rating of 4, which, for SPF 30, means it has a UVA-PF of 24 to 27. That's very high UVA protection, something that's lacking in most US sunscreens that rely on only Avobenzone for UVA coverage. I have been really liking this sunscreen. As with most European sunscreens, it works well, has no white cast, and this one is specifically made for sun allergies. The only thing I took away a star for is its fragrance. It's quite pervasive, even though it's pleasant. I've found that fragrance free products have been helping with my allergies. Other than that, excellent all around.

I developed a sun allergy in my late 50s that I never had before. Just 5 mins in the sun and my chest and arms would break out in a itchy rash that would last for a week. From the 1st time using this product I have not had a rash and I can sit out all day. I do reapply. I have recommended this to everyone I know who has had a sun sensitivity.

Only sunscreen that has helped my husbands sun allergy. Not cheap, but worth it. When in the sun for a couple days (even with hats and expensive sensitive sun screens) he would get red itchy rash on his face and neck. He's tried several things for he past couple years, but since using this he hasn't had a flare up. He also added taking an allergy pill in the am and using detol soap at night when we are on tropical or sunny filled vacations. Since doing that he's been cured! So far so good!

I recently developed some type of sun skin allergy that causes me to get itchy hives as soon as I am exposed to the sun. I researched products and found this and decided it was worth a try. I am currently at the beach and this stuff has worked like a charm. I will be ordering more.

I bought this at the recommendation of an English friend who said it kept herbsun allergy from flaring up. Although pricey, it works wonderfully for people like me who get a rash from sun exposure and traditional sunscreen. My kids do summer swim team so it's safe to say I see a wee bit of sun in the summer. If you have to be in the sun and have a sun allergy, buy this stuff.

I used to bake in the sun. But the last few years I've broken out into hives after sun exposure. I researched on line this puzzling development . It was on a travel site that visitors to Florida from the U.K. discussed my same hive problem and the solution , Piz Buin. It is a miracle . No more hives from the sun. I have never seen this product sold in the northeast of the USA. I ordered extra when I saw how well it worked.

This stuff is great. My red head father in law forgot his premium sunblock at the hotel and bought this at a tourist trap near King Herod’s palace. The best stuff we have ever tried and not as slimy as most.
