I have been searching high and low for the perfect lightweight camel coat and let me tell you this is IT! Being from Southern California, I am so envious of East Coast winter style and long to wear coats. However, it's usually too warm to do so. This coat is perfect for a climate like SoCal in the autumn/winter. I will even wear it well into the spring when we get morning June Gloom. This coat feels so much more expensive than the price you pay for it. I love the epaulets, the deep functional pockets and the way it does not wrinkle, even right out of the package. The suede-like material is soft and velvety. Be warned that it will shed just a little, but that goes away after a few wears. I noticed it shed slightly onto my black backpack, but nowhere else. I am 5'7 and a size 16-18 and the XL fits like a dream. I could even button and tie the coat if I wanted to, which never happens for these kinds of coats. I love this jacket. Bought a brown one last yr and the tan one this yr. Looks like suede, warm but breathable, and very flattering. I'm 5'2" and 108lbs so xtra small was perfect. Definitely recommend.

I really liked the color and style of this coat. For the price, though, the coat was a little disappointing. Unfortunately, it was too small and I had to return it. It is not faux-suede. It is just a medium-weight jersey knit. Also unlined.

I cannot believe the quality of this affordable coat... it has an amazing, soft texture, but the fabric is heavy enough to hang in a flattering way ...it came packaged folded up in a bag - yet not a single wrinkle! I’m beyond happy with this purchase!! Originally ordered a S, but exchanged for a M - I’m 5’5” and 145 ... order up if you have larger arms and/or broad shoulders - unless you’re intending on wearing this as a dress and skin tight. Fabric stretches a little, but also shows lumps/bumps/texture underneath it - so if you want to be able to wear a long sleeve tee or thin/light sweater under without looking stuffed in - go up a size. Not a jacket for warmth - perfect for California spring . In love - I want one of these in every color ... show more

This jacket is so lovely. It is extremely classy and will go with all of my professional clothes. The texture of the faux suede is remarkably well done. If I didn’t know that this was artificial suede, I would swear it was the real deal. It is extremely comfortable and flattering. The only thing I don’t love about it is that it has a plastic belt buckle. I believe that a metal one would’ve looked a lot more sophisticated. However, for the price, this jacket is wonderful! I ordered an extra large because I thought it would be nice to wear over sweaters, but even still I believe it is a bit large. I am contemplating buying another one in a different color in a size smaller. It has stretch to it, which gives a bit more room. ... show more

The buttons don’t match up and the straps on top the shoulders are sewn in different areas so they also don’t match. The style is cute and fabric is nice at first impression though. Sleeves are 2-3 inches too short for me but I’m 5’7 and a half.

I am overall impressed with this trench coat. It fits as expected and looks like real suede. I love its length and stretchiness, as well. It's really sturdy and I do not see it falling apart anytime soon. I was able to simply wash it in the gentle cycle and hang it to dry. I ironed it afterwards and it came out so nicely.
