These are the perfect walking shoes. They are light weight but still provide excellent support and are super comfortable. They tend to run large, so I suggest sizing down if you wear a half shoe size.

    • Life changing for bunion sufferers

I have a bunion and deal with daily foot pain. These shoes are a real help to me. I am 15 years into my career as a teacher, which requires that I’m on my feet most of the day. I haven’t tried these for athletic use, but I can attest to their comfort through the work day. I find myself reaching for them and planning outfits around them at least a couple days a week! They wash well in the washing machine. As far as fit, the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my bunion and prevent toe squishing for most people. The heel is snug and doesn’t allow for annoying slippage over time. The mesh-like tops cause you to see your toes’ outline, so that’s a little weird to get used to. I like the overall lightness of the shoe. The soles are pillowy soft and extremely supportive. Even the grommets and laces are well-made. I do wish these were a bit less expensive, but I think these shoes are truly great shoes. If they can keep me from being any grumpier by sixth period, I’d say they’re a good investment. I will make sure that Santa brings me some in another color for Christmas. : ) ... show more

Really cute shoe. Comfortable material. They ran a little bit long for me which was just disappointing as I had to return them. The arch support is not great, but I think it would be OK for most day-to-day walking. I ordered size 9 on their recommendation and while they were long, I do think size 8 1/2 my usual size would have been too small. ... show more

Comfortable, fit true to size, but the off white color stains super easily and the stains don’t come out even when the shoes are washed. I’ve used magic erasers, stain removers, and washed these sneakers multiple times but the stains never come out and the sneakers look dingy even with light wear. I’d only recommend a dark color because of how easily they stain. I won’t be repurchasing due to this, as for the same price I can get a higher quality shoe that doesn’t look dingy after light wear. ... show more

Allbirds are all about comfort, which is why I purchased these for travel, specifically to wear on the plane. They are easy to slip on and off, and almost remind you of a slipper with laces. Comfortable to walk in and require no break in period. The lighter colors will show dirt, but they clean easily. I wouldn't say it's the most stylish shoe, as it's very padded and puffy, but the comfort factor wins when you travel every time!
