I have 5 kids, and now that it's summer and 3 are on break from school, these tablets are a godsend. I'm saddened that with inflation, these are getting ridiculously expensive, but Amazon runs their 50% off deal periodically, and so I buy 2 at a time. It's always good to have a back-up... The batteries last most of the day considering the screen brightness and volume is always maxed out, and they never exit out of the games or videos they're watching before wandering off to do something else. I like the 2yr replacement since that's about as long as they last. (I have one tablet that's almost 5 years old and still working fine though) Either there's internet connection issues, lagging, freezing, videos won't play, or someone stepped on the screen and it broke. I will say they get thrown around in temper tantrums and stomped on quite frequently and they hold up extremely well. They do take a beating as long as you keep the cases on 'em. The downside is, everytime you delete something downloaded, fragments remain in a misc folder in the system files, which you can't delete from the tablet itself. You end up running out of space almost instantly. You can however connect the tablets to a computer and go into the system files and clear them out. It's a pain in the a$$, and you need to be tech savvy. Also you have to use the charger cord they come with or it won't connect. I would suggest buying an SD card which eleviates this issue. The kids can navigate the user interface easily. My youngest, who was 1 at the time got his hands on one. Didn't take him long to master it and now at almost 2, he knows where to find the games & videos he likes across all the tablets (I also have the Pro version for the older kids). The games are cute and entertaining. I have yet to come across anything that isn't kid friendly content. The pros outweigh the cons and can make the life of a stay-at-home Mom or Dad much easier when household chores need to be done. Highly recommend.

The tablet does everything you expected to tablet to do. I love the protective case around it. This will save the tablet from the many drops my 4 year old puts it through. I love how you can limit content to age brackets. Only down side is the limits it has on people it can Amazon call. You can add to contact list, but can't remove or rename them (one person is on there 3 times). You also can not drop in or amazon call to it, no matter what the settings. ( I can't call my own daughter that's on my account?) It took alot of research online to find out the limits on the Amazon calls and contacts. Other than that, we love it! (Wish you could enable show on this model though...)

Update: customer service reached out within the day and sent me a new one. She was very helpful and even followed up to make sure it was working out. Original post: It always had charging problems, but we could get it charged enough to work sometimes so we kept it. But now it doesn't charge. When having problems I tried restarting, updating, using different outlets, different chargers, etc and nothing worked. It kept telling me to use the charger that came with it but I already was. Tried to select return and it just kept trying to have me trouble shoot and watch videos even though I had tried everything. Really frustrating and annoying. Should have returned it day one when I had problems with it instead of trying to stick it out

This tablet is amazing! My almost two year old LOVES it! We recently made a 4 1/2 hour drive to Wisconsin and I wasn’t tied to letting him use my phone the whole time. My 15 months old granddaughter loves this device and is learning a lot from it. This is much more kid friendly than any other tablet or device that we have tried. Would like to have another one for the same $59 sale price offer; the regular price of $129 is overpriced even though the table is good. I bought this for my 1 1/2-year-old (I know that's pretty young but I needed something for a 7-plus hour car ride). She obviously can't work it very well but there are learning apps that I turn on for her and she loves it. She can also watch Disney + on it.

I ordered this for my kid to watch school videos on his preschool app and was disappointed to discover that you can only choose from the preselected app options. My child still enjoys playing the games and doing the activities those apps offer, but this tablet doesn’t serve the purpose I hoped it would. Entertaining: yes. Options: no.
