We have an Adobe house. The walls a 2 feet thick. I could not get WiFi into the far rooms and bedrooms. Now I can! This unit works great with my other 4th gen echo dots. The WiFi works great. I love the Alexa sound too! I am making routines and having fun π€© I admit I did have a week or two of WiFi / setting issues. I had a steep learning curve. But now itβs great. Alexa is part of the family now. I use her with smart plugs and my Amazon fire stick. I love it when she turns on my tv to my favorite channel. Now I look for more ways to write routines. Just buy one βοΈ

Great addition to our Eerro system. We basically loaded up on a couple more hot spots for the shed and dock that the Wi-Fi was not strong on.

Have several Alexa's. One has the wifi router-booster and it cuts out all the time. Works just as good, if not worse, as the ones without a booster. Felt it was a waste of money so I would not buy again.

The Echo was very simple to set up. My Echo ran a firmware update immediately. I then was asked to update EERO, both updates ran smoothly. I then launched the EERO app and turned on Eero built in. I keep getting error message to check for software update. Already done ! I have jacked with this for over 3 hours. I rebooted Echo and eero and even my modem The only way to get the error to go away is turn off eero built in. The only reason I bought this junk is to extend WIFI. I recently received ASTRO and have already had issues with that. Not happy Amazon customer. ****This appears to be a problem with EERO and not the dot. I have an open work order with them to troubleshoot the issue. We were not able to get it working though my initial call. Tam from Amazon was amazing thanks for caring. I was shocked that I received a call.
