  • If you don't know ask or research!
Bought two for my 98 pickup. One was right the other was problably a return, with a messed up thread on one side. This sleeve has two types of threats 1.5 pitch @18mm. One right turn other left turn. Thankfully the bad one was the right thread which are easy to find the taps for it. I own a fair amount of taps mostly SAE, so I didn't have this one. I decided to buy a tap and give a try to this sleeve after I started a return on it. New part was more expensive, besides now I have a new important tap wich is also the size of lots of O2 sensors. Please retailers, check and fix your returns, this was a 1 min fix, literally! Customers, do research before you messed up parts. I wasted time waiting for tools to fix no sense! ... show more

  • Works good
I used this along with a couple of other Moog parts to make an adjustable steering drag link for my 1975 F250 4x4 Highboy when I converted my steering to an electric power steering system. The parts seem well made and each tie rod end is greaseable, which will hopefully help the parts last longer, and the adjustability makes this a good setup. I used Moog part numbers ES3364T, ES3369T, and ES3368S. ... show more

  • the truck was in good condition but had been sitting around for about a ...
I saved so much money buying these and doing it myself. The dealer quoted me over $2000 to do all my tie rod ends, ball joints, and idler arm. This was a 2001 F-150 that I purchased for about $3800 with < 90k miles. So... the truck was in good condition but had been sitting around for about a year and a half. I thought I was getting something reasonable and affordable but when I saw that quote from the Ford dealer I was so upset. Especially after just replacing all the mufflers from having rusted out. I spent about $400 on Amazon and spent about 6 hours doing it. It was honestly pretty tough but you can rent the proper tools to make it easier. If anyone wants to know more about doing it, be sure to check out YouTube... It helped me a ton. I have used Moog on my whole front end now and have put about 10k on it with no issues yet. ... show more

  • Save $14 and get the old ones off while keeping measurements or spend $14 and bust these lose on your own time.
Worth getting to me, I bough this along with the center link when I ordered my inner/outer tierods, pitman arm, and droparm. That way I could just drop the entire assembly together and copy over the measurement close enough to drive up to the alignment shop. I'll have the old ones after I bust the old assembly apart along with the center link. These will be reusable and after I check all the hole diameters on the center link I will decide if it is any good. The thing besides being able to just copy the assembly over I don't have to waste time busting these rusted things off the tierods, figuring out if I need to turn it left or right while trying to get my vehicle back together, and I don't have to wait for these to arrive if it was too hard to remove the old ones. ... show more
