I have had my Kindle for over a month, and I am still excited about this Kindle. However, I just saw that it is on sale (Black Friday Deal), and I wanted to cry. It is now $45 less than what I paid (excluding the cost of the charger and case; add another $60 to that $45 (Ouch!)). Then, I had to have a talk with myself, and it went like this: Trinigal, stop being upset! You are fortunate to have purchased a Kindle that works well, and doesn’t have issues (like others who have shared the dissatisfaction with their Kindle). You are still enjoying your reads and always looking forward to your next read. I then chuckled to myself, and said that the title of the next book I select should be: When is the right time to buy a Kindle? My original review is below: This is my first Kindle, so I don’t have any other Kindle to compare it to. I usually read a physical book, books on my Computer, IPad or iPhone. This Kindle makes a difference in my ability to relax while reading a book. It is an awesome device that is portable, light weight, and convenient. Although I like reading on my IPad, it will no longer be my go to device for reading (When you know better, you do better). My house is full of unread books that I bought over the years, and that really bothers me because I just couldn’t find the time to read (being a professor with lots of other academic books to read, I gave those academic books priority over a good novel). Now, I am at the point where I want to read books for relaxation purposes. I chose the Kindle Paperwhite Signature edition as part of my incentive to read a good book. I researched this Kindle for an entire month before investing in it. Let’s get to the workings of the Kindle: This 7 inch Kindle is easy to hold in my hands. The IPad truly strained my hand when I tried to use only one hand when reading. At times, I had to lean the IPad on my thighs for support. Now, there will be no more hand to thighs when reading! The Kindle set up was very easy, and user friendly. I did not experience any problems connecting to the internet. After set up, with bated breath, I waited to see how the pages turned on the Kindle, and if I will find any fault with the action of turning the pages of the book I was reading. I am happy to say there was none; no noticeable long lag time, no problems were experienced with the turning of pages on this Kindle. Then I squinted my eyes, opened my eyes wide, I turned the Kindle upside down, and side to side while turning to the next page of my book; I was trying to see if there will be any trace of the previous page as I turn to the next page ( ghosting; some users experience an imprint of the former page while moving to the next page of their book). Happy to report, I tried hard to find a problem with that but I found none. What about the battery? The battery charged very quickly, and there was no problem during that process. I did charge the battery with the case on the Kindle, (as the picture shows). The Kindle came with an 80% charge and in 30 minutes (or less) it was fully charged (100%). I am hardly ever swayed by reviews: Sometimes reviews work as an incentive, or a deterrent….I always say, try an item out and make your personal decision. This Kindle is a keeper, and I am also going to purchase the new Color Kindle Colorsoft. Conclusion: This Kindle paper white Signature Edition , Gen 12/32 GB, is truly made for reading. It is certainly a handy device for traveling, and reading on the go. It is easy on the eyes, and therefore, easy on the brain. The raspberry color is really nice, and I plan on buying an extra clear case so that I could easily see the vibrant color of the kindle. I am honestly excited to be part of the Kindle family!

I purchased the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition a few months ago, and it has completely upped my reading game! As someone who loves to read both indoors and outdoors, I was amazed at how easy it is to read outside in bright sunlight or while relaxing in the bath, thanks to the anti-glare screen. Plus, it’s lightweight and slim enough to fit in my purse, so I can take it with me anywhere—whether it's to the coffee shop, on a trip, or just on the go. The battery life is incredible—I can read for days without needing to recharge, which is a huge plus. I also love how the Kindle Paperwhite works seamlessly with Kindle Unlimited. I've been able to breeze through 21 books in just 2 months, and the amount of money I’ve saved is unbelievable. Out of those 21 books, I only had to purchase one, thanks to the vast selection available on Kindle Unlimited! At first, I was a bit worried I would miss the feel of a traditional paper book, but after using the Kindle Paperwhite, I will never go back. The experience is just so much more convenient and efficient, and the screen feels so natural, I forget I’m reading on a device at all. In fact, 3 of my friends were so impressed after trying mine, they’ve all purchased their own Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. They all agree—it’s a total game-changer for readers. I’ve always loved the idea of reading more, but never found a device that made it feel this seamless and luxurious. The Kindle Paperwhite in Raspberry is not just beautiful, it’s smart, sharp, and addictive in the best way. The color instantly made me fall in love. It’s vibrant yet elegant, and stands out just enough to make it feel personal. The screen is crisp, the lighting is perfect whether I’m in bed or outside, and the page-turning speed feels super snappy. What I adore most is how light it is. I can read for hours without wrist fatigue (and that matters). The waterproof feature is no gimmick, I’ve taken it to the bath and poolside with zero stress. Battery life? Insane. I charge it once every two weeks at most, even with heavy use. I paired it with Kindle Unlimited and now I’m flying through books I’d forgotten I wanted to read. I genuinely feel like this Kindle reactivated my love for reading. If you’re considering one: do it. Raspberry looks even better in person. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely love my kindle, I did quite a bit of research before purchasing and most said this was the best for value of money and storage. I know some people had a yellow hue around the outside but I have not had that problem and have had it for 7 months now. Everything easily downloads and the “ads” are just pretty backgrounds like a picture of a bunch of books on a shelf or random letters of the alphabet scattered. It’s small enough that it doesn’t cramp your hand to hold, the font sizes are easily changeable and it even has the option for a night time hue for those who struggle with blue light (big selling point for me).
