Something worth noting: two of them appear to be the same company written two different ways — "LAMEILA" and "LA MEI LA." When I was trying to sort that out, I came across an FDA recall on one of their foundations. The recalled product has a different name but looks identical to ones in this set. The recall isn't for any known ingredient issues — it's because the product wasn't submitted for US approval. That may not apply to what's included here, and I genuinely don't know how to verify it either way. I'm not saying avoid it, just flagging it incase it’s something you find important enough to look into. ________________________________________ SKIN COLORS: One thing I find puzzling is the variation in shades of the skin products. The pressed powder, liquid foundation, BB cream, and concealer are shades 01, 02, 03, and 04 respectively — four different shades—spanning light to medium shades— for the same face. All of the liquid (LAMEILA) products have warm undertones that, on me, lean orange. As someone with fair skin, only the powder (YOO TIGER) was actually within my range, and none of the products are going to work for deeper skin shades— sorry, my African-American Queens. ________________________________________ VALUE AND OVERALL THOUGHTS: For just under $25, you get PLENTY of bang for your buck. But it's not something you'd buy for someone who already knows what they're doing with makeup — the mismatched shades alone would drive them crazy. As a starter bundle for a preteen just starting to experiment? It's a ton of fun. Just make sure it's age appropriate, and keep the FDA note (which, doesn’t necessarily apply to this foundation) in mind.

Do not buy this if you are looking for anything premium or especially high end. But do consider it if you want a basic set that gives you a little bit of everything in one place. This is a really good option for someone who wants to experiment, learn, or just get started without having to buy every item separately. For the price, you get a lot, and it feels like a very practical way to have most of the basics all at once. My wife really enjoyed going through everything in the set, and it makes a nice gift for someone who wants to play around with makeup and try different things. Just keep your expectations realistic. This is not one of those sets that is going to feel luxurious or out of the ordinary. It is a basic but complete kit at a very good price, and for the right person, that is exactly what makes it useful.

While this set is billed as a set for women, I would say it is more of a beginner makeup set. It has a ton of makeup, applicators and brush options and you don't have to get everything separate. It really does come with a little bit of everything from what I can see. Eyeshadow palettes, lip colors, brushes, foundation/BB cream, sponges, and more. I was impressed with how much was included. The variety of colors is great too. There are plenty of neutral shades for everyday looks along with some brighter options if you want to experiment. It’s a nice mix that lets you try different styles without needing to buy additional products right away. The brushes and tools are a big plus. For a beginner, having a full set ready to go makes things so much easier. They’re not luxury-level, but they’re perfectly usable and get the job done well especially if you are new to makeup and trying to figure out your look and what type of makeup works for you. This set felt like a fun “all-in-one” kit for someone to open. It would make a great gift for someone just starting out with makeup or maybe for someone who wants a backup travel set. The price for everything included is very good. Definitely a good gift. Overall, this is a super convenient and budget-friendly way to build a makeup collection quickly. Tons of variety, easy to use, and a great starting point. Definitely a five star set for beginners.

I want to preface this with saying I am only just seriously getting into makeup. I have an idea on what my skintone and undertone is (neutral light-medium) and I'm slowly figuring out the style of makeup I enjoy-- meaning I have an idea on what products I need to achieve that look. One thing to note about this set is that it is A LOT of stuff for the money you spend: brushes, sponges, foundation, concealer, bb cream, face creams, contouring set, two eyeshadow palettes, eyeliner, mascara, brow products, and a bunch of liquid lipsticks. This is enough to get a full face look for, what, 20 bucks? That's a steal. That being said, it's still worth the research: all the makeup are from Chinese brands, and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it is worth noting their safety regulations are much different from American standards. In addition, the makeup really only applies to folks with a lighter complexion: I barely edge out when I tried their foundation and BB cream, but people with darker complexions may not find much worth for their money with this set, unless you're aiming to only get the eyeshadows and lipsticks (which, in my opinion, could definitely work for all complexions and is worth the money). THAT SAID, the payoff is lovely. I adore the eyeshadow palettes and the eyeliner, and while the lipsticks are a touch too drying, the colors are lovely. I can definitely see myself reaching for some of the products, particularly the eye products, but it does mean that about half the products are a miss for me in account on just being too light for my complexion.

My 13 year old daughter is getting into makeup so I ordered this set hoping it would be enough for her for a while. I am very surprised at the quality and quantity it came with! I haven't heard of these brands, and it may break her out, but her 13 year old skin is resilient and I'm sure it will be fine, and better than the dollar store stuff she's been using. We received 20 makeup brushes in varying sizes, 2 eyeshadow pallets, 1 eyebrow powder pallet, 1 pressed powder compact, 1 contouring pallet, 1 bottle of bb cream, 1 bottle of foundation, 1 bottle of consealer, 1 contouring stick, 1 mascara, 1 liquid eyeliner pen, 1 eyebrow pencil, 2 beauty blender dupes, and 6 matte liquid lipsticks. That's a total of 41 pieces, 22 if you count the brushes as a set. The quality of everything is great! The foundation is light, I would compare it to CoverGirl ivory. It's perfect for my kiddo. The bb cream is a little darker, closer to the shade Neutral in CoverGirl. The consealer is darker than that. The eyeshadow pallets are very pigmented. The mascara is perfect, adds a nice curl without clumping. I loved that the box came packaged like a little PR box or something. My daughter really enjoyed opening it up piece by piece. This would make a great gift. Overall, this is a wildly good deal! I'm very impressed. I might order one for myself just for the tools alone and to have stuff to travel with.

This truly is an all-in-one makeup kit. It has everything you need! It is priced very well and makes for a great value. The products themselves are of average quality. They are effective and everything works, but it isn't as high quality as other products out there. My favorite items are the brushes. There is a brush for everything you could possibly need to be able to apply any makeup. They are built well and are sturdy. The pressed powder works well with my skin tone, and it is easy to apply. It also has a built-in mirror in the case which is awesome. My third favorite item is the mascara. I feel that lasts all day and makes my eyelashes look long and full. The eyeshadow isn't vibrant. It takes several layers to get the look that I like. It does come with a multitude of different colors which is fun. The eyebrow pencil didn't work very well for me. I felt it looked too fake when I applied it. Overall, the set is awesome. It is priced well and comes with everything you need. It definitely would make for an excellent gift, especially for a young person who is just starting to experiment with makeup.

This set arrived properly packaged and sealed with no damage whatsoever! Comes with all the basic essentials to do your makeup from home or to practice on any makeup mannequin. Products are fairly priced considering the quality and quantity of items you get! Eyeshadow are a little watered down so I recommend applying several layers to achieve full effect! Overall its a great option when on a beauty budget!
