Beautiful! Done by novices!
Color: Burgundy, Black, Yellow, and Gold
My friend and I had never done a balloon arch or anything significant with balloons. It takes time and patience but WOW! This kit is great quality. We only broke 1 balloon during inflation, and we eventually realized we were over inflating them, but still only broke 1. Another 1 popped overnight. So
don’t sweat that! It took the 2 of us 4 hours. Having done it once, and not questioning our approach over and over, we probably could have shaved at least an hour. The color and size variety and golden snitch really set this off. Advice: A few extras that were helpful. Ballon inflater, zip ties, double stick tape, balloon arch. Build it 1-2 days in advance. You NEED a balloon inflater. Inexpensive on Amazon, or post in your neighborhood group to borrow one. This is NOT helium but regular air. The tie off tool was essential but we still struggled a bit (that’s part of the pump). Step 1: Inflate them all. Measure so you don’t over inflate. They should be round. 2: Put the balloons on the strip with holes pretty close together, especially if you tie to an arch. Every other dot probably. Much easier than glue dots, and they end up wrapping around the arch. You will use some glue dots at the end but denser application to the strip worked better. 3: Secure the arch. Zip ties, my friends! I think this may have been heavy to attach to a wall. Large Command hooks may have been necessary. 4. Attach the balloon strip. Having two people really helps. Again, zip ties, but there is ribbon in the balloon kit which would have worked too. 5. Add the golden snitch. The straw to inflate these is not included, and there weren’t instructions. We used a metal straw. Wiggle it from the red hole up to the actual air cavity. You have to break through membrane. Gentle but firm. Then inflate manually. We stuck the wings to a gold ballon and then placed the 3 pieces together. Point the tied end of the center balloon to the back to hide it. Very hard to place on the arch. The glue dots don’t like to stick to the shiny gold. Double stick tape was a little better. Support the wings with other balloons. Looks amazing though!!! 6. Fill the holes and hide the arch with extra balloons adhered with glue dots or double stick tape. 7: Stand back and appreciate your work! Make your kid take a picture of you and your friend.

Good balloons, easy to work with
Color: Silver, White, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Or...
The balloons were a great quality and the packaging was a great touch as well. The necks of these balloons were super stretchy which made them easy to work with. I would have love to have more 5” included or the option to add more that matched.

Decent for bargain balloons
Color: Burgundy, Black, Yellow, and Gold
First of, I used two packs in order to make the balloon arch I did. The one in the main stock photo probably had three packs. Smallest balloons were good. They needed to be stretched first in order to be blown up on an automatic blower. Regular sized balloons were THIN! So many popped. Way more than
normally would when assembling an arch. Usually 2-3 will pop during the process and I had about 8-9 pop and I was banging them by the end. The gold and metallic crimson color were opaque enough to just do one layer. The yellow, black and red were not. I didn't double the black but the yellow and red needed to be double ballooned. If they weren't, they were LAUGHABLY see through. (Pictured is a single layer next to double layer red balloon) Ruins the effect if they're like that. Thankfully I had ordered 2 packs. Color options: the yellow and gold were both fun colors to have in the arch. The metallic crimson and matte crimson together didn't look great. Because there aren't a lot in one pack of each, it kind of looked mismatched. Almost as if someone was just trying to find any red balloons they had left in their personal stash. In my opinion, it would have looked better if it had just been one or the other. The balloon tape strip it came with is not my favorite. I took a picture of the one sent and the one I like to use. The one sent was just holes and too close together to put balloons in each. These are harder to get in and don't stay in as well either. The preferred is the other one pictured where there is a larger hole that leads into a smaller, makes it easy to put the balloon in and then you slide the balloon to lock it into the smaller hole. The spacing is also doable on the strip I prefer. Forgot to add: the snitch wings it comes with are great. However, it did not include the little piece you use to blow them up. Thankfully I could kind of rig it onto my blower. It would have been impossible without it. Those type of balloons always come with the straw type thing to blow them up. This pack did not. Overall I would say they are decent. I will update on how long they last. I made this arch with intentions for it to last 2 weeks but I am not hopeful based on how thin they are.

Not one of them popped or deflated. I usually start blowing the balloons a night before the party and they were perfect.
