  • So comfy!
Size: Skate Size 6 (Shoe 7-7.5)
I love these skates! After trying a few pairs of used/thrift store finds that were so uncomfortable, getting these felt like a splurge but they are SO worth it. I've used these for pick-up hockey 1-3 times a week since mid-February and only in the past two weeks have I noticed wheel wear, but even still I'm not concerned about changing the wheels yet. I am a women's shoe size 7.5, got the smallest size they have available, and while there is still room in the toes it's not a challenging amount and still feels very comfortable. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Comfortable and glide well

For the price you can’t beat it. Great beginner to intermediate level skate. The wheels last a while outdoors. Can’t find anything better for the price. Thank you Alkali!

  • 3.5 hrs in them, better than my old ones
Size: Skate Size 10 (Shoe 11-11.5)
Only wore them for 10 minutes( in the house). I like them, my opinion may change if they fall apart easily. I skate pretty hard sometimes. I appreciate 3 things immediately out of the box, first is, it's a good looking boot. Then I immediately noticed the padded tounge, to help try to prevent lace bite, which was a big deal in my tour brand skates. 3rd, I only need 1 tool to take the wheels off. They seem sturdy enough already. They also have padding all through the boot, not much but none at all was a problem in my older tour brand skates. I bought these because my old skates destroy my feet with immense pain. I like these already, I just hope they withstand the test of time. I've never tried the brand, and they weren't very popular when I was younger. I've seen 1 person wearing the brand, and he was good at skating. I figured for the price I would give them a try. For what I paid I am very pleased already. The skates I really, really, really want are 1200 dollars. So these for a small price are more affordable. That's the only 2 reasons I bought them, my old skates hurt my feet in a bad way, and these are affordable. I consider myself a good skater, and I skate aggressively sometimes, I just hope they can handle the abuse I put them through. I'm going to put some time in them today, can't wait to really try them out. Looking forward to it. UPDATE!!! I rode these for 3.5 hrs today, I still like them, but will point out a few things that I figured could be a little bit BETTER. I will gladly fix the issues myself, it's not a problem unless you make it one. First one was on my left foot I had a slight pain on the ball of my foot, nothing major, but enough to notice and make me uncomfortable. I pulled the sole out and realised there was a soft spot where my foot was sitting. I got home, and pulled the soles out of my old skates, added them on top of the existing soles and doubled them up. I think that will fix it. The other problem I noticed was a slight pain on my ankle bone, again nothing major, just enough to notice, and be slightly uncomfortable. I have some gel padded socks that I will wear next time, and I think that will fix that issue. The last skates are why I bought those, because the pain was bad enough to quit skating all the way around. The new skates, same issue, but not nearly as bad. Those gel pads made the old skates tolerable, so I think it will do even better with these. I also noticed my wheels loosened up a bit, I think it was the screw, I made sure they were tight before I left, after 3.5 hrs I tightened them again, a few seemed loose, but a little bit of blue thread locker should fix that. So far I am glad I bought them, no pain was bad enough to quit skating for 8 years. The last pair I bought made me quit all together, these were awesome compared to those. I bought 2 pair of tour brand skates, I have decided to never do that again. They were good, but they weren't for my feet. I'm tired of the pain they were causing me. After an hr I would be ready to go home even with extra padding, with these new skates, I doubled up on socks and made it 3.5 hrs, only slight pain. I'm happy with my purchase so far, and wish I bought these 10 years ago, instead of the tour brand. ... show more
