This is a real flannel. Medium to heavy weight but still soft and pliable(?). Has washed well. Nice winter shirt, also for summer nights mountain camping. Nice fit, maybe old school as I haven’t found many in recent years that aren’t either to fitted, weirdly short or have balloon shoulders. It is wonderfully basic.

My husband goes "Perfect! Just what I wanted!" And I concur the sleeves are perfect for him the Large Tall is what his 6'2" height requires. The color & fit were perfect. I was slightly disappointed with the description of the fabric as flannel. The nap was thinner than I anticipated, but it is a good value and who am I to argue with male glee. He likes to wear it over cotton knit polos and it is the perfect weight to keep him warm for fall dog walks It comes out of the dryer ready to wear.

As I go to review this shirt, I see that it is now a couple of dollars less expensive than when I bought it. Those are the breaks. This is a nice, well-made shirt. The fabric is a medium weight that makes it great for wearing indoors during the winter while not having to crank up the heat in the house. The Large Tall size fits as I expect a Large Tall to fit.

This black flannel is well made and looks very nice but it is ridiculously large. I wear a 4x, the last flannel I ordered 4x shrunk down to about 2x. This flannel sizing is much larger so maybe the 4x will shrink to a proper 4x, but no, this thing will not shrink. I have washed & dried this shirt now about 6 times, hot water & high heat, the inside plaid pattern is fading but not the black shirt, and it is not shrinking. The sleeves are a good length but the body of the shirt hangs below my ass and it fits like a big muumuu. Picture Homer Simpson in a nice looking black muumuu.

I purchased 2 of these Flannel Shirts, which fit well and are true to my size. The fronts pockets are good, they hold my reading glasses, in the soft case along with my 2 writing pens. I enjoy the look with the bottom sleeves folded back, which allow the inner pattern to be seen. No fading from washer or dryer using the cold water cycle. Would definitely purchase again.
