I was surprised this robe was good to be honest. I bought for my son (6' 235 pounds). I chose the XL because things tend to run smaller. It fits him well all around. The quality is good. The thickness, while not super thick is more than enough to keep you warm, but not too hot; it doesn't feel flimsy. Seams and stitching feel like it will last you years. On me, 6'-3" 195 pounds the length is 2-3 inches above the ankle. This size works for me too. It has a generous size hood and is soft with big pockets. No, it's not a high end robe, but it's not like the cheap terry cloth ones out there. It does not feel like a cheap towel. If you don't want to spend hundreds then this is a good robe that will last. My one complaint is the sleeves, on me, are a little short by an inch or so. Not a deal breaker a d I have long arms. It's a peeve of mine because my weight and height make it hard to find clothes off the rack that fit perfectly. A bargain for the money and a good robe period, unless your rich and spoiled; and in that case don't be cheap and go spend a lot of money on a better one. This robe is very comfortable, and very warm. Kicking your feet up in a recliner with this on will put you to sleep very easily!! You've been warned!! The material is very soft, it has 2 Large pockets where you can easily keep a phone and T.V remote to stop them from sliding off your leg when relaxing. The robe itself is pretty large, covers most of your body, you can order delivery wearing hardly anything underneath and not have to worry about scarring the delivery persons eyes. The hood is also a nice addition, it helps keep my ears warm when napping in the recliner. I will be buying this again eventually, I definitely recommend this to any dad or husband looking for a comfortable casual wear to roam around your house with. Feels good. First wash turned up no shed storm. Basically a high quality blanket shaped in to a borderline too big robe. Bought a ny knitted robe that has perfect material, weight and length when standing... but hung dong when seated. This robe was longer and reviews didnt note quality issues that cheapers did. Im 5'9" 185 and got a l/xl that is half an inch shy of too long lengthwise with pretty perfect sleeves. Down to my ankles, but Just above annoying. Would recommend small/medium if you are not over 6ft and or really fat. Material is warm like a blanket that would be good in a cooler environment, but problematic if its hot or you run hot. Omg… best cuddly-soft robe ever! Womens robes are soooo overpriced.. I ordered this one. Well lemme tell ya.. it’s fantastic! I ordered a super large one and I can almost wrap myself in it twice. Shoulda just ordered my regular size. Anyway.. I’m keeping it cause it’s just fantastic. My 9 year old keeps stealing it cause he says “it’s the softest thing I’ve ever felt”. It has a loop for hanging on a hook. Super large waist tie. It is quite long.. I’m almost 6 ft and grazes my heels (again.. I ordered it waaaay big). When I ordered this robe, I also ordered a terry cloth full length Turkish robe. That one came first and I thought it was pretty good. It’s what I was used to. Then this role of arrived. Oh my goodness. Hands-down 10 to 1. The best robe I’ve ever had. It’s so thick and plush and soft and absorbent. I’m 6‘2“ tall and I weigh 280 pounds and this thing fits me perfectly. Anyone who tells you they didn't buy these because they make you feel like a Jedi is lying. This robe is super warm and fits pretty well. I am kind of short and the robe goes almost to the ground but it does not drag the ground. I got the Large/XL. The material is really soft and warm and the hood feels really good. The only complaint I might have is that the tie cord around the waist might be a little longer. Other than that I like this robe. Now I can be warm and comfy whether I am sitting on my sofa watching TV on a cold night or I am fighting Darth Maul on Hoth. Master Windu is super envious of my cool new robe and Yoda was so impressed he let me use his hover chair to zoom around the temple. 5 stars ... show more

I I am 6 ft tall 195 lbs.. I read all the other comments that's why I decided to buy a 1x-2x.. I can put two of me in this housecoat.. so I'm going to try to return it to get an L-XL. The robe comes all the way down to my ankles the top of my feet. I also love that feature just a little bit too long though.. so I'm hoping the large - extra large will be more fitting for me.. ... show more

So we bought 2. 1 for hubby and 1 for me. Hubby's is a S/M but fits like a large. Mine is matching, but purchased from the women's offer so I assumed it would fit like a woman's robe and be sized for women, but they are both the same fit (the man's and the woman's). I bought a L/XL, and it's way too big. We are both between 5'8-5'11 and weigh between 170-180lbs. I love the robes, but wish we had bought 2 small/medium. They're much thicker than the average robe. The hood will be extra nice when we use the hot tub outside during Colorado winters. I'll take mine in, sew some nice pleats in the back to give it a woman's shape. ... show more
