I had already replaced the power cord and realized he was going to keep chewing, so I ordered this mesh tubing. It works like a charm, looks decent enough, and it was easy to put it on. This is the best thing I've invested!! It was so easy to install and i wasnt to sure if it would be the right size but it was! I have a lot of wires under my desk due to have 3 monitors, mic, mouse, keyboard, speakers... it got really crazy and ugly FAST I did use scissors to cut however much I needed and used a lighter that I promptly burnt myself on 🙄 to stop the fraying. (Please dont burn yourself but also please melt the frays so it dosnt fall apart) when melting i didnt notice any fumes just a little smoke. This will protect my wires from getting caught in my legs kees or chair. Its also pretty thick and itll work for anything I have a bunch extra and paired this velcro ties just to keep it against my table. This cord protector made a big difference in cleaning up the look of my desk. It’s simple to use, customizable, and much more visually appealing than typical options. What I used it for: Organizing and bundling multiple cords at my desk at work. Pros: Easy to cut to the exact length you need White color blends in nicely (better than standard black) Keeps cords neatly bundled together Split seam design makes it easy to add or remove cords Cons: Ends can fray slightly if scissors aren’t sharp (mostly cosmetic). More user error than product error. Real experience: I used this to group all the cords behind my monitor and desk, and it instantly made everything look cleaner and more organized. The split seam is especially helpful since I can easily add more cords without redoing everything. Comparison: Better than basic cord clips or ties since it fully conceals and bundles cords, and more flexible than solid cable covers. Alex Tech makes awesome products, this is my 1st time using split-sleeve loom. The only downside is when I cut a length off & burn the ends to keep it from fraying, it always causes it to fray to an extent, gotta figure out how to nip that & it's a little difficult to feed the wires in (but that means they're even harder to come out, big plus) otherwise 5 stars. LOVE that you can have a run of harness with a breakout wire at any point, makes jobs much faster & takes up less material. The loom is pretty thick & will obviously be even thicker if your inner run is thin enough for the loom to overlap on itself. ... show more
