I need this from formal nights on cruises- and maybe for my daughter's wedding. I love how it fits- but I can't imagine it would fit everyone. I'm a 42 C and 5'9"- and a pear shape- so the full skirt is GREAT, but I also need the fitted top- I'm more like a 14/16 on top and an 18/20 on the bottom. So if you buy this, take into account the top IS fitted. I like that- I don't like gapping. I've gotten a few size 18 Alex dresses that fit on the bottom but gapped on the top. I'm tall- so I wear ballet flats and this just grazes the tops of my shoes. If you are shorter than I am you will need to wear heels or hem. ... show more

I wore this dress at my son's wedding and received many complements for it. It arrived quickly although it came in a plastic bag and was stuffed in my small mailbox it fortunately wasn't damaged. I am a petite and this only came as a standard size so I had to shorten it. The sleeve length was fine. Although it was higher in price than the others I looked at I think it was a better quality (less trouble with the zipper) I was very happy with this purchase and so relieved that I found something that fit well and looked good on me.
