These are the only pair of jeans I own and wear. I have a somewhat hour glass shape from the front but also a big tummy when I’m sitting down. These don’t require constant adjusting (they don’t really fall down), they’re very flexible and have a great amount of stretch, almost like true jean thickness but as jeggings. Although I’m slightly annoyed that they have a tiny bit of slack around the ankle. I cuff them since that looks weird on me (big calves so looks better truly skinny style). I don’t lounge around in them because right and thick clothing makes me want to crawl out of my skin, but I’m happy with how these feel when I’m out in public. The waistband also does leave some red marks after, but if I go up a size then they’ll be too lose around the legs. I got my true current pants size, although I’m losing weight and these still feel decently tight so I think the sizing is pretty flexible. Color has held up well over many washes, still pretty dark Jean color. Great value, durable, and timeless (if you think skinny jeans are timeless, which I do). Update after purchasing size 12 regular in Luna: Different colors have clearly different materials. The Luna jeans are thinner than the nightingale. They fit a bit tighter as well & the inseam in the Luna is about 2 inches shorter than the nightingale. I planned on wearing this lighter color mostly during spring so I'm ok with the shorter inseam but I would rather have the flexibility to roll them shorter. They are still comfortable but I'm not as in love with them. They washed & dried fine. Dropped overall rating from 5 to 4 stars. Also, I've worn & washed the nightingale so many times now and the blue still comes off on my hands. Original: I was nervous about buying pants online, but I went for it and I am happy about that I did! I was worried that based on other reviews the material would be more like a jegging, but the nightingale color seems to be normal with a little stretch - they feel like jeans to me! I ordered a size 12 & my hip measurement is around 43". I wear this size in other pants, so it seems consistent. The jeans zip and button easily with no spill over. The rise is high - comes up to my belly button. I don't mind that. The inseam length is perfect. I'm 5'6" and the regular goes all the way down to my ankle. I expected that it would take a few washes for the dye to stop coming off on my hands, and that is true. While these jeans don't bleed nearly as badly as others that I've owned, after 2 washes, my hands are a little blue from being in my lap. The jeans have not discolored any other items in the laundry (I didn't wash them with white items though). They hold up well after being dried. I like them! I wish there was another wash that I liked and I would buy another pair. ... show more

I have been searching for a pair of even remotely comfortable jeans for about a decade, and I have FINALLY found them! I prefer skinny jeans because all the other styles just look slouchy on me. i previously had been a fan of old navy rockstar skinny jeans but they just aren't the same at all anymore. These are comfortable, flattering, good quality, and a great price! They come to just above my belly button but they don't dig into my stomach when I'm sitting and they don't fall down my hips causing me to constantly hike them back up. The legs are flexible enough to climb stairs and move about easily. And they aren't the dreaded jegging material. I highly recommend these jeans! The jeans fit true to size and the front pockets are just for looks but you can use the back pockets. Nice quality didnt shrink when washed and I would definitely purchase them again. I wanted to add that I typically get a tall in skinny leg jeans but these were long enough and could be tucked in boots or worn with other shoes and the length is perfect at least they were on me. I bought these same pants in Compass a month ago and loved them- they were flattering, true-to-size, and comfortable while still having some structure. I bought a second pair in a darker color and they’re not even remotely the same. The darker pair is very thin fabric (which bled blue onto my hands, even after washing them with color catcher), the waistband thinner and not structured or very stretchy, and they fit like they were a full size smaller. These jeans are made with thick durable material. I normally wear a 10 regular but I ordered these in a 12 long. They fit perfectly. Maybe think about going up one size when ordering. These jeans fit nicely and will look great with a pair of boots.
