Bra size 34 dd and pants 27 waist/size 6. Dress hits right below knee. May need a little shape wear to smooth or control top pantyhose. The fabric feels nice on too.

I bought this dress for a very special family event, one that we will always remember. I will feel confident and beautiful wearing it for photos with family and friends. It's the perfect navy blue color I was looking for. The length is ideal for my age and body type and the cut is flattering. The surplice neckline lengthens the torso. The flutter detail on the skirt and the sparkly broach at the waist are dressy but not overpowering. Love this dress. Alex Evenings does it again!

When I received this dress I was very surprised to find that the fabric is similar to bathing suit fabric, which made me very skeptical about how it would look and wear. There is no hem, it's just cut fabric, which is not what I expected in a formal dress that costs $240. I'm assuming a hem may be too bulky in this fabric for a formal look. The fabric does not fray so we'll see how it holds-up. Regarding the fit, it's lovely and very flattering. You do need to have the right undergarments on so no lines show. The neckline is so pretty, and the ruching really accentuates your waist.

This was a beautiful dress. I'm 5'4", so I was hoping it was longer (most are on me) but it was exactly as pictured, sitting just above my knees, so I returned and went with a longer formal in an almost identical style. Overall it was beautiful and fit perfectly, it just wasn't right for me.

I needed a dress for my an upcoming wedding. I had looked everywhere for a dress that would work for the destination wedding. I needed a dress that wouldn't need any maintenance for the trip or the day of the wedding. I wanted a dress that had classic lines as well. I am 5'7'', 155lbs and normal build. I ordered the size 12 and it fit very well. The knee length is perfect too. Not too short, hits at knee level, not below knees. The fabric is similar to a swim suit fabric and does not wrinkle or crease when packed. The dress fit is not binding since there is some "give" to the fabric. Very comfortable. The neckline is wider, will come close to bra straps, but will still cover them. The color has a blue undertone. The beautiful beaded applique at the waist adds interest and pairs well with either silver accessories or black. It will also pack well and will need no ironing before the wedding. (I left it folded overnight to see if it would wrinkle or crease. It did not .) The dress does not have any hemming, it is simply cut and the edges left unfinished. No one noticed the dress was not hemmed when I showed it to others. Everyone commented on how beautiful the dress was. I can also use this dress for other special events.

I’m on the “curvy” side and typically go for an A-line style of dress. After reading the description of the fabric, I took a chance. The dress fits beautifully. The fabric has plenty of “give” and the draping on the front, hides my tummy. I could not be happier with my purchase. I wore it for a sons wedding and to a dress up dinner at my husbands military reunion.
