It is very well made, fully lined and a nice weight that had some stretch without a skin tight clingy fit. I love the 3/4 sleeves which are not easy to find in dresses, but so sought after for fall & winter events. While other women in their sleeveless and short sleeves were complaining about freezing in the air conditioned room, I was quite comfortable. The dress also has lovely gathered pleats and a rhinestone brooch at the waist for an elegant touch. This dress was a great find and I received several compliments on it. I bought the charcoal gray and it was rich warm color, not as harsh as black. I will be checking on line to see if it comes in any other colors. I am 5'2", 125lbs, breast 36 1/2" with a C. cup The size 8 fit perfectly everywhere, fell slightly above my knees and did not require any alterations whatsoever. I needed a dress for my an upcoming wedding. I had looked everywhere for a dress that would work for the destination wedding. I needed a dress that wouldn't need any maintenance for the trip or the day of the wedding. I wanted a dress that had classic lines as well. I am 5'7'', 155lbs and normal build. I ordered the size 12 and it fit very well. The knee length is perfect too. Not too short, hits at knee level, not below knees. The fabric is similar to a swim suit fabric and does not wrinkle or crease when packed. The dress fit is not binding since there is some "give" to the fabric. Very comfortable. The neckline is wider, will come close to bra straps, but will still cover them. The color has a blue undertone. The beautiful beaded applique at the waist adds interest and pairs well with either silver accessories or black. It will also pack well and will need no ironing before the wedding. (I left it folded overnight to see if it would wrinkle or crease. It did not .) The dress does not have any hemming, it is simply cut and the edges left unfinished. No one noticed the dress was not hemmed when I showed it to others. Everyone commented on how beautiful the dress was. I can also use this dress for other special events. ... show more

My daughter’s wedding was in the morning and fairly simple. This dress was not only just right for the event - knee length, simple yet classy. People commented the sleeves are not hemmed. They don’t need to be. The fabric is thick. Perfect for us older stylish women who don’t want every tiny bulge showing through.     • Beautiful dress but fit is uneven

It’s a lovely color and the scuba fabric makes it very flattering. However, the top was large and the bottom half, despite being well-fitting, puckered from waist to hem on both sides. I know I’d have been pulling at it to try to smooth it so, unfortunately, back it goes.

When I received this dress I was very surprised to find that the fabric is similar to bathing suit fabric, which made me very skeptical about how it would look and wear. There is no hem, it's just cut fabric, which is not what I expected in a formal dress that costs $240. I'm assuming a hem may be too bulky in this fabric for a formal look. The fabric does not fray so we'll see how it holds-up. Regarding the fit, it's lovely and very flattering. You do need to have the right undergarments on so no lines show. I bought this for my daughter’s church wedding this summer. It is so pretty and even though its fabric is a little strange (kind of rubbery?), it is a nice weight and surprisingly forgiving. The 3/4 sleeve makes it a great choice for any season and the ruching does a really nice job of creating a waist, enough that I don’t even mind the side bling. Also the fit is such that the neckline does not need pinning to stay modest. I do wish it were about 2 inches longer because it doesn’t fully cover my knees, but I still consider it worth five stars. ... show more
