Ordered the charcoal gray as a mother of the bride dress. Very flattering, color is elegant and there is no jewel in the waist area like some of the other colors. For reference I am 5'4" 150 lbs and the size 10 fit perfectly. As others noted, the hem is not finished, but with a 2.5" heel I probably will not need to hem it. Smooth, stretchy material, so easy to sit in and the ruching and thick fabric is flattering in the belly area. The jewels around the neck add just enough bling without being overly done. There is a slit in the chest area below the neckline. I ordered this dress is another color and that slit had a little cut into it so be sure to check that area if you order this dress. ... show more

Bought for son's wedding. Tried on and returned lots of dresses. This was the most comfortable and best fitting one. It is flattering and the material is a little stretchy. I would recommend. It is a heavier fabric and there is no hem: it is just a cut but the fabric does not unravel.

Returned this poorly made dress 2 days after I received it, in August. The refund was issued then in October I was charged again , the seller claiming the item was not retuned. Be extremely cautious when purchasing products , if they come from China , DO NOT PURCHASE!! This dress was what I’d consider costume quality, then the added hassle of dealing with the return , going on 3 months. It’s been horrible customer service, to the point I’m considering this to be a scam . Consumer beware , Amazon has made our lives so simple w shopping at our fingertips , but then this type of experience happens and becomes quite frustrating. This is a really really beautiful dress. Yes, as you may have read in other reviews, it isn't hemmed. What I mean by that is that it doesn't have a sewn hem, it's just cut. This doesn't bother me at all. It's clean and doesn't make it look unfinished whatsoever. Still a very elegant dress! I got the wine color, and it's stunning! The only problems I have are: (1) It's way too long, for me anyway! Even with heels, I'll have to have it hemmed.... So, if I want the hem problem fixed, I'll do it then. Bear in mind, I am only about 5'1", so a taller lady may be fine with the length. (2) I feel like it runs large. I ordered a size 6, which is my normal size. I can definitely wear the 6, but I feel like a 4 would maybe look better on. If you're in between sizes, i'd recommend sizing down! ... show more

It's been a minute since I wore this to a wedding, but I must say, I've never been as comfortable & confident in a formal dress, nor received as many complements as I did in this one. I gained weight during Covid and used the dress as my inspiration to drop 10 lbs. before the wedding. I still had to wear my Spanx gear underneath to smooth out the "bumps" which, unless you're a size 6 or below, I highly recommend due to the spandex content in the dress, but that was a no brainer. The spandex is not flimsy but, rather, is like the fabric you'll find in bra bands. The best part is if you need to shorten the back of the dress as I did, you just cut it (I used a rotary cutter & ruler on a cutting mat after carefully measuring & marking). No hemming. No fraying. (Get help if you are unaccustomed to working with fabric because once you cut it, there's no going back.) If I have need for another formal dress, I will definitely get this one in another color (I have the Blush). ... show more
