Our daughter was to have an afternoon wedding in May -- and this dress would have been delightful for it! Of course, it got postponed ... but I think this dress will do for November, as long as I don't gain a lot of weight during the pandemic lock-down, and they let us out of lock-down by November. I ordered this 8P because the reviews were good, and that particular size was all that was available that I had a hope of being able to fit into. I wear a 10 in the Amazon Basics line, but I am short, so petite is always good. I was worried it might be to small though. Thankfully, the dress fit like a glove. When I took this photo, I weighed 140, and I am a little over 5'3" with a bust and hips -- but the dress is not tight or clingy at all. Love it. If you are a short person, definitely go for the petite, the curves are in just the right places. There's a navy lining and a gorgeous metallic lace overlay that looks like a pattern of leaves, really striking. The basic color is navy, and then the silvery threads and lace give it texture and shine. The length for me is right at the knee or a tiny bit below, which is perfect for a wedding where you don't have to be real formal but want to look good. The ruffly sleeves are so pretty too! Depending how I feel in November, I might wear Spanx under it just to shape my tummy; but really everything looks great as is. Highly recommend. Oh, the quality seems very good, too. I actually ordered several dresses to try before you buy, and this one was the best quality.

This is very pretty, perfect for a summer wedding. The dress is very pretty and very feminine, on me it was very busy and being 5’2” made it look like too much pattern for me, which was just too bad. The colors are soft, the dress is attractive.

I wore the dress to my daughters wedding. I received many compliments. It fit well and was very comfortable. I was glad I purchased petite because I am 5ft 4in and a regular would have been too long for my taste.

Its not well tailored, not flattering at all :(. And living outside the US I see it difficult to return this dress. I bought it for a coctail party and definitely will not be able to wear it

Normally wear a 10, ordered a 10 and it fit perfectly. I am 5'6" and 153 pounds. This dress is soft, comfortable and has a beautiful soft gold shimmer over the navy. Very subtle and beautiful. The dress has some give to the fabric. Gorgeous dress.
