I know everyone always says this, but I really mean it when I say, "I don't leave reviews often." Very rarely, in fact. I am leaving this review today because of an excellent experience I had with the Alecewey Customer Service Department over a YEAR after my purchase. Before I get into that, I do want to share my general review. The good: - Two screens connected to your laptop - that's awesome! - Excellent quality - Mine came with a fancy, padded case - High durability - I've been using this device daily for over a year, dropped it and transported it numerous times, and it works and looks perfectly fine - One single USB-C cable is all that's necessary to power & display both monitors (with my particular laptop model) - this is better than the competitors The bad: - I wish the screens came inward a bit more, but this is not a deal-breaker - I wish the device was designed such that the screens "slide into" the back of the device instead of "fold into" the back; sliding would mean that the laptop could be safely closed with the device attached to it, but in the current design, the device must be taken off the laptop in order to transport it safely. This is a bit of a hit to the convenience factor, but certainly not a deal-breaker. - I wish the screens were bigger; bigger is always better, ya know? Again, not a deal-breaker. Notice that the "bad" list is all "wishes" - that's because the product itself, as designed, and as marketed, is perfectly adequate. That's partly why my review is 5 stars - it earned those 5 stars. But the other part is the customer service experience: The right side of my device had a strange issue - Excel gridlines didn't show on it. They showed on my laptop screen, and they showed on the left side... just not the right side. It was infuriating because it seemed like such a strange problem that didn't make any logical sense. After weeks of messing around myself trying to fix it, and even talking to some people online about it, I figured I'd try to hunt down the manufacturer and ask them. So, I found an email address for Alecewey, and I did just that. They responded WITHIN MINUTES of my initial email. Then as we discussed the problem, their responses were still prompt the entire time. After sending them a video of the problem, they sent a suggested solution back within 4 hours after letting their developers evaluate the problem. And it worked! I am impressed that after more than a year from the time I purchased it, and even after undergoing an apparent company/name switch (when I bought it, it was an OFIYAA device, but now it's Alecewey?) they still responded and ultimately fixed the issue I had. I have to say, I did NOT expect that. So, if this device, as designed, is exactly what you want, then definitely buy it. But if the wishes in my "bad" category would be deal-breakers to you, then don't, and find a different product. But if you get this product, I assure you that if it's what you want, you will be satisfied and well taken care of.

This purchase was an absolute game changer and may have been my most impactful purchase of the year in terms of efficiency, productivity, and convenience. Working off a 14" HP G6 Elitebook (this works for any 13"-17" laptop) from home to finish up odds and ends from work at the office, I guess I never realized how having additional monitors can have. I have 2 large monitors at work and it's been something I guess I took for granted. But now that I have 2 additional monitors at home that's compact, portable, and installable in seconds, I've actually looked forward to finishing my work at home because it's that much easier. The 11.6" screens are much smaller though so you have to get used to that aspect, but relative to my already smaller laptop the adjunct screens are just fine. I've seen people knock the screen size, but it's clear from the picture and the product specs that it's expected. Pros: I appreciated the packaging came with all the necessary cables to make the connections. I also really appreciated the description of compatibility of ports because it helped me take inventory of what my laptop had or needed before I purchased. Luckily, I didn't need any additional ports or lines. I had 2 USB-C ports to connect the screens. I loved the fact that it was literally plug and play. Didn't have to install any drivers or other hardware. The spring-load frame expands to hug and fit any laptop screen again 13"-17" and I was up and running in a couple of minutes. I didn't need any instructions because literally I located 2 USB-C cords and plugged them in and boom it was on. I did have to go to my settings and under 'display' I had to select the 'extend desktop to this display option' and not the duplicate options. I could've used the HDMI cables to connect as well because 2 were also included, but I didn't because the cords were longer/thicker and I wanted a cleaner looking workstation with less cable presence around. YOU NEED 2 USB -C AND TWO HDMI AND TWO HDMI PORTS at the same time! It will say you need items 1,4,5 or 1,4,5 +adapters and that only works for 1 screen! You cannot have 1 of each although it say you can! You cannot output or input with an adapter even though it says you can. Okay I am extremely disappointed!!! My made sure I had compatible parts, purchased the adapter for the surface book and I got upto with one screen working at a time in my HP! If you have 1 HDMI and 1 C port it’s not gonna work even if you have 2 USB port. I couldn’t get my surface to contact at all! I made sure I had a compatible version. Long story short this is hit or miss. I’m buying a project where I can watch movie, use both laptops and complete my work. This sooo cool guys. Quality was okay. A bit over priced but it still nice. It’s a good buy if you have 2 C USB AND 2HDMI NO EXCEPTIONS! & Yes I called IT support with Amazon and my job and still did not work. It’s a lot of cords. Sad guys very sad but if you got the ports 2 of each port not 1!!!! I’d say buy it. The rest of with 1 HDMI or 1 USB C skip it!

I have been mostly satisfied with its performance. The setup process was straightforward, and the monitors were easy to connect to my laptop. The additional screen real estate has been extremely helpful in increasing my productivity, allowing me to have multiple programs and documents open at the same time. However, I did lose a star for the price of the product. While the Triple Portable Monitor is a useful tool, I feel that it is somewhat overpriced considering the quality of the screens and the overall build. The monitors also do not have the best viewing angles and can appear somewhat washed out at certain angles. Overall, while the Triple Portable Monitor is a useful tool for increasing productivity, the price and somewhat subpar screen quality may make it less appealing to some users.

Most of my review is actually in the video. Because of this items cost I thought I would take the time to share with you my thoughts. I ended up returning it but that is simply because it didn't work on the laptop I had intended to use it on. I wanted something that I could travel with and that I could take with me and use anywhere I also wanted additional screens that I could use on my lap. This not only works on my lap it also allows you to move your laptop around but it's probably a bit too much strain on most laptop hinges. For the laptops that it's compatible with it does what you would expect it to do. I don't like the fact that you almost have to have all the screens out meaning you're taking up almost the space of two and a half laptops. That being said this isn't likely something you would be using if you were crammed into a tiny area it is something you would likely use when you need portability and to expand. For that reason I think this is okay I'm just a little disappointed it couldn't work in my use case. The other thing that is a bit annoying is that the cables that come with it work but only the 90° section can be on the screen and even if you got a 90° adapter chances are it wouldn't work with this screen same as other cables. I tried numerous cables that I have and I only managed to find one that worked but it is a power only cable so I was not able to use the screen with it. The versatility and the apparent build quality are fairly high although I did notice a few odds and ends here and there. They don't affect the functionality but it looks like the bezel about a quarter of the way from the hinge on the top part of both left and right screens was pulling a bit away from the screen. This specific unit that I received had one piece of hair in it so it looks like it had been used also one of the cables was already out. I am returning it in perfectly functional condition so it's quite possible that it's going to be reused again but sometimes that makes me nervous. In this case it seems like I was given a functioning product that just didn't function with one of my laptops. For the price point I would expect it to work on every system that I have and it simply didn't. It's also not as adaptable and flexible as some of the other screens that have an HDMI port which is what I'm going to go back to. The one that I have doesn't attach to the laptop and that is the main reason I was willing to try this one. Had it worked with my laptop I would keep it even though it's heavy and I think it will cause excessive wear on the hinge I believe I would be happier with it than my current solution.

Screen quality isn’t great and they are smaller screens. Ultimately work fine for my needs but a pain to set up. You will need to plug in a minimum of 2 wires but as many as 4 between your laptop and the screens. The attachment process is janky and the screens fall off easily, i don’t have high hopes for the longevity of this piece. The weight of the screens makes your laptop flop back and forth. It comes with a piece that is supposed to “stabilize” the setup but after pouring over directions and spending over an hour looking for where it could possibly attach to the contraption I came up with nada. I’d say it’s worth mayyyyybe $200 but definitely not $400.
